The box arrived and was super HEAVY, so I knew it wasn't going to be a flimsy piece of furniture. Opened it to find good, clear directions inside, and all parts included (plus some extra screws). Went together according to plan, and it looks just as pictured online. The feet have nifty leveling adjustment screws (like video projectors often do) to get the unit perfectly balanced. I've worked in the furniture industry for a decade now. I have built, fixed, assembled, delivered all types of furniture. I fix furniture for a living. I knew what I was ordering was manufactured pressed board and a paper veneer finish, so my expectations were pretty low. What I didn't realize was how good of a quality it was. I was genuinely impressed and shocked at the quality. Very good quality MDF and paper finish, pretty good metal frame. Everything assembled fine for me with a 12v impact driver, would be annoying with just the provided allen key though. The only issue I had was a slight mislignment on the left side facing metal frame, which is welded. Causes the doors to be slightly crooked. The only complaint I have is the levelers good be longer. Honestly though I'm not worried about it, especially for the price. Great stand and I know it will hold up just fine. If you need a 36" stand, this is it, trust me. ... show more

**THIS ENTIRE SETUP IS OFF!!!!!** The shelves were a quarter inch too big, corners and the shelves would not fit into each other as shown in the instructions, none of the pre holes aligned, the width and length of the inside shelves were are all too big, the front doors were too big, no prefilled holes to go into even if the doors were the correct size, and the10g fish tank does not fit in the bottom either. MUST BE ABLE TO cut, drill holes, and CREATE YOUR OWN fish tank with some of the products given, waste your time, and money!!! This is not safe to keep this way! This is unacceptable, there is no customer support, and I am requesting a replacement with the CORRECT size pieces without having to cram this item back into a box. Seems like this was for two separate size tanks. ... show more

I typically don’t write in depth reviews but I believe this item deserves one. It arrived on time, our delivery folks are the best. My husband and I laid out all of the pieces to ensure nothing was missing. Directions were clear, no words, but clear. You must pay attention to the section on attaching the sides don’t tighten too much at first and pay attention to the focused pictures in the directions on how shelves are assembled. It took us about 2 1/2 hours to put it together, we took our time. The stand is VERY sturdy/heavy and the look is spot on for my media room. It was purchased for a 30 gallon fish tank, description says it has a 1K weight capacity. Make sure when you are putting the doors in, they have room to open and close independently. Also we were assembling the bottom shelf when we realized two dings on it, had we seen it earlier we would have turned it to the rear, so check each piece for nicks/scratches. This apparently came from the factory as there were no dings on the package and it came straight from the box to the blanket where we inventoried each piece before assembling, lesson learned next time we’ll check for scratches. That was the only reason for the four stars. I would highly recommend this stand and would definitely purchase again if needed. The price was great for the quality of this piece as I’ve seen similar for twice as much. ... show more

I really like the sturdiness of this stand. It has a metal frame which makes it solid and gives me piece of mind. I’m using this stand to hold a 40 gallon tank with my 5 foot corn snake. His aquarium fits perfectly on the stand with nothing to spare. It goes well with my home decor and gives my snake good height. I have 38 gallon saltwater tank on top of the stand. Im still in the cycling phase and haven’t organized anything (referring to pics). Overall, its not a bad stand but just poorly executed. Ill be going over pros & cons. If my doorknob screw actually held the doorknob in place this product wouldve gotten a solid 4. Pros: - stand looks good - wood seems high quality - has adjustable pegs for leveling - design is decent - packaged well - decent instructions -comes with allen key -light Cons: - leveling pegs could be longer, I ran out of peg length and had to use shims (my floors are fairly leveled) - one of the door knob screws are not long enough to hold the knob in … like c’mon - the holes are not predrilled so you have to make sure you hold the screw right to get a straight hole - outside screws can have caps for a cleaner finish - took long to assemble with allen key ... show more
