I do all my own tattoos so numbing the area is a big thing especially on sensitive spots. The bottle says it works for 6 hours. I'm not saying it doesn't work but after you remove it wears off really fast. The first time I let it sit for a hour and a half and before I could get half way done with my outline it had almost wore off completely after only 30 minutes. Second time I left it on almost 2 1/2 hours thinking it would last longer but it still only lasted about 30 minutes. Third time I left it on for 3 hours and it didn't even go numb all the way and once again it only lasted 30 minutes. I've used alot of different brands of numbing cream but this was the worst by a large margin. It doesn't even numb you all the way just mostly and after 30 minutes it almost completely wears off instead of gradually like all the other brands I've used. I'm never buying this stuff again. It was a waste of money totally. I wish I could give this product 0 stars because it didn't even deserve 1 star.

This works wonderfully. Lasts even longer than stated, smells great (like roses! 😌🌹), and its the lowest price per ounce I've found on Amazon. I've used it a few times. I've found that, for me, it doesn't do much within the first 2 hours after applying. Makes sense since I usually don't respond quickly to local anaesthetics. What has helped me the most is applying a thick layer, wrapping in plastic wrap, and leaving it over night. After 8 hours of leaving it on, I'm completely numb for a few hours after I wipe it off.

It's not a bad cream. no skin reactions and it did numb the area. It's not a 6 hour numbing, but it did definitely numb the skin. definitely will be trying it again. worth a shot if you have sensitive skin.

I’ve tried it many different ways before tattooing.. large-small amounts, given plenty of time to set. Every time the pain seem to be the same with no change, and the stencil doesn’t stay as well with it on..smells ok, might be good as moisturize skin stays shiny for awhile where use. I received package fast next day
