  • Best numbing cream I’ve used to date
I have a ton of tattoos and the older I get the less I prefer to feel them happening. This product is amazing. Not only was I numb for my tattoo, I was numb for the rest of the day. No pain whatsoever. The size is perfect for a couple decent sized tattoos so you get your value for your money as this is a little more pricey than some other creams on the market. Worth every penny. ... show more

  • Works better than others!
This numbing cream works better than the BelleHaven 6.5% numbing cream. I always sit for 6 hours because it's cheaper, and it works well for the first 2 hours. I never expect numbing cream to last longer than 2 hours anyway. Also, like the other review said- the pieces that are untouched stay numb for a longer time. What's the point of getting a tattoo anyway if you don't feel any of it? I'm fine with feeling 4 out of 6 hours. ... show more

  • Works surprisingly well
Used prior to a couple of body piercings. For me, I applied a fair amount, enough to leave a thin visible layer. I let it sit for about 10-15 minutes. Already began noticing a numbing effect, sort of like how your lip feels during any dental work. Then using the alcohol prep pads, that seems to have driven it home. Didn't feel a thing, even during a minor position adjustment DURING the jab. Lasted for a couple hours. Any pain sensation if there was to be one, slowly fades in and after that amount of time is very bearable. Magical stuff from my experience. ... show more

  • Works as intended…actually better than I thought it would.
I originally purchased this product for my husband’s first tattoo and I ended up deciding to try it myself. Before I start, my body processes numbing products faster than normal and I usually require extra to maintain the numbing effect. I applied it about 2 hours prior to needles on skin. It works well to remove the initial pain and part of the shading pain. If you’re there for a big, colorful piece, you’ll definitely feel pain later on in the session. Overall, it’s a great product that actually exceeded my expectations. ... show more

  • It works best on small tattoos that take less time, it still works but not 6 hours at least 2 to 3
I’ve gotten a tattoo on my arm and didn’t truly feel anything until 3 hours into my session. I even went to sleep at one point and I don’t like pain so that says a lot for me. You have to apply it correctly in order to get the numbing effect. I wouldn’t say it lasts 6 hours but it does numb it too a certain degree. I used it again for my behind my ear and felt nothing at all the tattoo artist had to tell me we was done cause I couldn’t even feel him touching me at all . ... show more

  • Wow! This worked incredibly well!
First of all; test the product! I’ve seen so many reviews of people claiming they had negative reactions to the product, causing redness and even blistering around their tattoos. Why would you risk an infection on fresh ink without testing it out ahead of time? I tested it several days prior to getting inked, noting how long it numbed the area Vs how long I let the product sit on my skin. (I found that leaving it on longer than 90-120 minutes did not lengthen the amount of time I remained numb, that’s the sweet spot!) Everyone is different, so you should know what to expect ahead of time! (Common sense). Depending on how much I used, the area remained numb the longest when there was a nice layer remaining on top of my skin, then covered in plastic wrap. It took a while to get everything set up at the shop due to a printer issue, so I lost some time. Applied at 10:45 after a shower (I only applied it on my elbow, wrist and top of shoulder, expecting the most pain there). I removed wrap and rinsed off at 12:30. (Then we had the delay.) Tattoo started at 2:15. Barely felt any discomfort on my elbow for the first hour or so, but after that it was tolerable. By the time we got to my shoulder around 4 -4:30 I was still slightly numbed, and again, it was all easily tolerable. When we got down to my wrist area (around 7pm), I didn’t feel anything other than that something akin to her lightly tracing over my skin! When I went to bed after 10pm, my wrist was still fully numb! If you’re highly sensitive or getting a painful area done, give this a try. Just remember, follow the instructions and test the product ahead of time! The artist was afraid the cream would make it more difficult to tattoo and inhibit the ink from setting, but it didn’t- at all! ... show more

  • Didn't work
This did not work for me. I put it on and wrapped it an hr and half before appointment, it only stayed numb about 45 mins.. I guess it's worth for very painful spot like knee like I used for the short amount of time... unfortunately it was a 5 hr tattoo so I felt most of it after lol

  • Long lasting.
I for the most of my time getting a tattoo is just go in and let the artist do their thing. But this time I ordered this numbing cream. I knew it would take 5-6 hrs. I applied an hour prior and little wrap that myself would wrap. I left the top of my shoulder not wrapped but left a paste on top. She started and for the most it’s was hearing the gun and pressure. At the end of 6hrs I could feel the needle but not much pain. I recommend this product. I go back in a few weeks for fine detail of the feathers and red for the Alaskan tribal. I’m Alaskan born Tlingit Indian and she will put talons on this to my scar that runs across my Bach up under my arm pit. Buy this. ... show more
