All around this is a decent beginner kit. The gun alone is worth what you'd pay for this entire kit. I found the adjustable stroke to be convenient, but most beginners should stick with the average stroke and learn everything else before starting to adjust this. The battery life is very nice. You can knock out 4-5 tattoos depending on size and complexity. If you are just doing line work or simple jobs it will be more than sufficient. The inks are nice and stick well. I only found the white to be kind of clumpy. After a few minutes on my vibrating mixing machine it was usable, though. The T-rex needles are fantastic, I have used that brand for quite a while now and to get that quality in a kit at this price point is rather surprising. Almost everything else included is usable, the Coban wrap, the ink cups, the practice skin, etc. I only had issues with the transfer paper and the gloves. The gloves were very cheap and thin and all of them ripped when I tried to put them on. It was almost like they hadn't been stored properly and were brittle. The Transfer paper worked for practice tattoos on the fake skin, but did not stick well on a real person. Even with transfer gel I had a hard time getting the stencil to peel completely off the paper and be one, solid, uniform image.

This kit really is a super value, and when you run the pen you'll be in shock. That's because you'd never expect a wireless tattoo pen in this price range to run as quietly, and smoothly. It's really impressive. Very silky operation, and a super-fat grip area that can easily be made even fatter. Just use a folded paper towel, and some wraps of grip tape. The pen has an integral battery, and it features a supremely beautiful, multi-color display. Just alongside is the three-button operation, which is very straightforward and intuitive to use. The pen has a working range of 4.0v to 12.0v, and it is that smooth, and that quiet throughout. It's very much like a pen that you expected to cost five times the price. There is also an adjustable stroke of from 2.0mm, all the way to 4.2mm, just like the high-priced tattoo pens. The fit & finish are excellent, and it's a sort of satin-black, which is very nice to the touch, and seems durable. There is a USB charge port at the top, and a cable is included (USB-A to USB-C). You'll also find the rest of the kit very adequate, as well. It includes a set of tattoo needle cartridges, a single roll of wide black grip tape, a single set of black latex exam gloves, 2 sets of ink caps, a few pen bags (to cover the pen when working, a couple of dental bibs to cover your workspace, a set of PRACTICE inks, a few sheets of tattoo design thermal-transfer paper, and a sheet of 3mm practice skin (synthetic, full sheet). The skin is excellent, as well. This is an excellent kit, and particularly great as a choice for beginners. They'll not soon outgrow this pen, which is a winner. I really think that Urex has hit it out of the park with this tattoo kit. It's a super deal.
