Pro- good kit for new/practicing artist Con- battery connection issue and ink seems dull I’m new to doing tattoos. So I can’t speak too much on the quality of everything. The issue I’ve noticed is that the battery doesn’t lock in, so it will wobble around and won’t start the machine unless you find that certain spot where it magically connects somehow. I’ve thought about maybe taping it, but I’ve also looked into finding another battery that doesn’t hang down. For starting out, I think it’s a decent kit to practice with. Has a little bit of everything you need to get a feel for things. I would probably buy some better ink before doing anything on anyone’s skin. Ink just seems dull (maybe bc it’s thin?). Also, make sure you buy more ink cups, ink, and fake skin because you’ll go through them fast! ... show more

I was really hesitant after reading the reviews about buying this, and after trying it, I really dont see where all the bad reviews are coming from.
