The media could not be loaded. This set comes with everything you need to get started. I’m not a tattoo artist, but I enjoy learning different techniques and drawing on the practice skins, and I've tried a few different kits now. This kit includes everything you need to get started, including cartridges for lining and shading. It took a minute to figure out how to get the battery pack set up to the proper settings to run the machine, but once I did, the remaining adjustments and fine-tuning were fairly easy. The gun has an adjustable needle depth, which really helps when you're trying to learn how far to hold the gun to get the right skin depth (1-2 mm). I still don't feel confident working on actual skin, so I'm still just practicing with skins (included) and intermittently shading in some decades-old scars from an old accident to try it out on actual skin. I was easily able to mix the ink to a flesh tone (red, blue, yellow, and white) in the included ink cups. This machine was easy to handle and allows for steady handling and an even and consistent depth, and the needle didn't hurt any more than professional tattoos. The ink was deposited evenly over the scar tissue area and is healing evenly. The skin trauma was no worse than any of the professional tattoos I've ever gotten, and the healing went by without a hitch, though it was itchier than normal as expected due to the tattoo being done over a keloid scar. Overall, this is a very user-friendly kit for someone who wants to explore tattooing and is an excellent value for the money. Plenty of ink, cartridges, and skins to practice many different styles and applications.

It's an ok little practice kit. Comes with everything you need to practice on fake skin and hone your skills. Do NOT use this ink on real skin!!! The pen vibrates a good bit and is kind of loud, but that is to be expected of a cheaper end machine. Not the best but not the worst.

I got this for my friend who just started tattooing classes and though he mentioned that the techniques and tools they used are slightly different, these have allowed him to practice with melons at home. He did like that the set came with everything necessary to get started and was great for entry level artists like himself but for more sophisticated drawings, it would require getting more accessories and cartridges. Apart from that, he was really happy with it and was more then sufficient for his practices.

As an introductory kit for beginners getting into the actual process and mechanics of tattooing for the first time, this all-in-one learning kit is fantastic. It has everything needed (apart from online videos for guidance) and it's one of the simpler designs of tattoo gun around. In terms of quality, it's middling-low, and comes with ink that is only graded for use on practice, fake skin, not in human bodies. However, you do need hours and hours of practice with fake skin before eventually starting to tattoo real live people, so I think this kit is still a good deal and an excellent choice for entry into this art!

This is a nice pen is on the shorter side but the grip is nice and natural, the battery provides a good life of around 4 hours on an 8v set, took 2 hours to charge, and the vibration levels are decent a little high but manageable, it comes with a great selection of ink for practice and get familiar with a lot of colors. Also comes with a nice amount of needles, making this kit one of the best equipped for practice.
