I like that this machine is pretty simple. It features adjustable needle depth which is always a plus in my book even if you are brand new. This machine comes with a USB-C cord for recharging. Batteries: There is a magnetic connection for attaching the battery which features the screen on it. However, you can also opt to remove that and put on an rca input top which the allows you to use any battery you want so long as it has an rca connection. However, you lose the screen if you opt to do this, unless you are plugging into a power supply unit or the other battery you’re using has a screen. You shouldn’t be without a screen unless you are using a cheap power supply unit/portable battery unit that doesn’t give you the voltage you’re at. There are some of those things out there but if you’re not using those, then you will have a screen. It’s more just an FYI for you to be aware. Why is that important?: The only reason i mentioned it is because most machines have the display integrated in their machine to where you are only swapping out batteries. This one isn’t like that. Because it has a magnetic connection, you need to be careful with how you put them on as you do not want to damage that connection. If you end up damaging that connection, you’ll have to buy a new machine. Even though I am very careful, I dislike the machines that use the magnetic connection for this reason. It seems like it’s the cheaper route to go instead of using an integrated rca jack like most machines typically use. Machine function/operation: for the most part, it runs pretty smooth. It’s quiet and has minimal vibration felt even at higher voltages. This would make a nice liner and soft shader machine. Definitely a nice one for newbies to start out with or for those that struggle with clean lines.

I'm completely new to tattooing, so take this for what it is. I saw this, and thought I have always wanted to give it a go. I've been practicing on synthetic skin. I really feel like this is great for beginners. We all have to start somewhere! It may be good for professionals too, it's hard for me to say. But I have definitely enjoyed it's ease of use!

I really didn't expect much from this tattoo pen, and boy was I surprised. Let me first say that I'm not a fan of the shape of the grip area on this pen, but in fairness it's fine, and it's really a matter of personal preference. I was impressed with the quality of the fit and finish, which is a sort of semi-glossy matte. Very nice. The pen has a very crisp, easy to read digital LED display, that is a good size, and faces you as you work. There is a calibrated ring around the mid-section, and the pen has an adjustable stroke length of 2.4 to 4.2mm, which is outstanding. The pen also has a working range of 4.0v to 12.0v, and it's silky smooth and incredibly quiet throughout the entire range. You honestly cannot hear the pen running up until about 11.3v!!! The top of the pen is where the integral battery pack fits, and it has a USB-C charging port. The unit comes with a USB-A to USB-C charging cable. You ALSO have the option of removing the battery, and replacing it with the supplied cap that has an RCA jack. This will allow you to use an AC power setup (not included). Comes with a nice booklet. This is an excellent pen. When you consider how smooth, how quiet, and how nicely made it is you will see that it's also an awesome value.

The media could not be loaded. For the price, this is a really good tattoo pen. The charge last a while before you have to recharge it. I’m really happy with how the cartridges fit in it, it’s really snug and allows for more precision tattooing. It’s very easy to use.
