This stuff is pretty amazing for the price. Nice 3mm thickness. Holds the stencil well, holds the ink well, and cleans up easily while working and after. Had to turn up the stroke depth to hit harder so be careful with transition to human skin, but they are great for practice and much better than other cheap options I’ve experimented with. ... show more

Way better than what 1mm paper thin crap I was using. The ink whipped right off no problem, haven’t tried stencil work on it yet but freehand after figuring out what speeds and depth to work at, it’s good stuff from my opinion. And if you think about it, it’s way cheaper to buy these bigger sheets and cut them in half and use front/back, than it is to buy cheap small 1mm skins. ... show more

First time using a practice skin , you have to go really slow and turn your machine up. If you were to tattoo someone like this you would chew up the skin really bad. I guessing it’s fun to mess around with but conscious that you have to move your hand way faster when actually tattooing someone. Pigskin is better practice although washes don’t work on pigskin. This is cool for practicing shading I guess. Edit: I have to admit they’re pretty fun I have never tried the expensive practice skins. But for the price I’m enjoying myself. Edit2: so I decided to throw some color on it. Which I knew wouldn’t look great since I had originally shaded it for BnG. Which would make the pink look muddy. Which it does. But it really doesn’t take white or even light pinks. All the parts that look like open skin were actually packed with a really light pink. But It just doesn’t show up AT ALL. The green and yellow look nice, but this is the first thing that has disappointed me so far. Don’t tattoo anything planning on using soft colors. ... show more

so although this paper is thermographic, it miraculously still works even if you just draw your design into it. it took some trial and error but you need to go slow and press hard. it transfers well with speed stick deodorant. the frog is poorly drawn but you can see how vibrant the color is.

The media could not be loaded. Fun product to practice new techniques on and just to all around make cool pieces on. Sheets are big enough to fit a couple of palm sized tattoos. Wipes off very easily and needles goes in without a problem! And there’s no stretching! 😁
