I have a lot of tattoos. Gone are the days where I dont use this! This really helps the initial days of healing and keeps bacteria OUT and allows it to heal undisturbed. I put the first application on for 24 hours, take it off and shower with antibacterial soap, then reapply another application which can stay on for about 2 days. It is much easier if you have someone else do it for you. Be careful to avoid trapping air under the dressing. Sometimes, it seems impossible to avoid air bubbles, so i poked a needle thru them to release the air. Obviously, this will allow water to get in, but the primary purpose here is to prevent the new tattoo from rubbing on my clothing and sheets. The application was a little tricky at first but the instructions made it easy to use and was able to fully cover my husband’s back tattoo without and folding or rolling on the edges. It went on smoothly and he was comfortable wearing it for hours. Removing it was a breeze. This product tore my skin up. I followed the removal instructions, but I had road rash all around the outsides of the ink I was protecting. Thankfully, it didn't damage the new tattoo. I removed it after one day.

I bought this to use as tattoo aftercare and it works great. It has a great adhesive but also easy to remove. I was also able to use it along with gauze to keep water off an incision site. Recommend this product. Would buy again.
