I have a lot of tattoos. Gone are the days where I dont use this! This really helps the initial days of healing and keeps bacteria OUT and allows it to heal undisturbed. I put the first application on for 24 hours, take it off and shower with antibacterial soap, then reapply another application which can stay on for about 2 days. It is much easier if you have someone else do it for you. Be careful to avoid trapping air under the dressing. Sometimes, it seems impossible to avoid air bubbles, so i poked a needle thru them to release the air. Obviously, this will allow water to get in, but the primary purpose here is to prevent the new tattoo from rubbing on my clothing and sheets. This roll allows you to cut to size and works very well for me. I recommend to everyone that is getting a tattoo.

The application was a little tricky at first but the instructions made it easy to use and was able to fully cover my husband’s back tattoo without and folding or rolling on the edges. It went on smoothly and he was comfortable wearing it for hours. Removing it was a breeze. He reported that there was not nearly as much pain as he expected and we were able to reapply comfortably a second time.

Whatever you do, do not use this awful product. I should’ve gone with my gut and purchased saniderm. My tattoo has been recovered for weeks and the scarring from the skin these ripped off my arm remains. To start this is far from my first tattoo. I’m around 26 sessions in at this point in life so I preface this with that to say- I understand tattoo care and I know how to apply these skins. The edges were rounded, it was applied properly and within 12 hours bubbled into blisters. I was not active, did not work out, it was not hot, and was simply away on a work trip and needed to ensure my tattoo didn’t bleed onto my clothes while I was on a conference panel. Cannot recommend against this product enough and couldn’t even receive a refund. Nuts. I thought I’d give this one a chance but it’s clearly poor quality. Don't waste your money.

My artist suggested this product for after care and after a little research i decided it would meet more needs then after care. The order arrived the packaging is great for keeping it clean and away from dust etc. Overall I am very pleased with this item.

I didn't really know what to expect and was thinking it would be more difficult to apply and remove but it wasn't. Nice product with plenty left over. I covered two pieces approx 8in by 6in (turned the film sideways).
