I got the WEAVING YY 10 x 12 foot tarp because outdoor equipment has an impressive talent for attracting rain approximately five minutes after I decide it doesn't need covering. The 8 mil poly construction feels appropriately sturdy in the hands, with more substance than the lightweight tarps I normally associate with quick temporary jobs. At 10 x 12 feet, there's enough surface area for covering equipment, supplies, building materials, lawn items, and plenty of other things I'd prefer not to donate to the weather. The size is also manageable enough that I can unfold, position, and fold it again without turning the process into an accidental backyard sailboat demonstration. Weather protection is obviously the important part, and the waterproof polyethylene material provides the barrier I want when covering items outdoors. The advertised UV resistance is another practical feature because prolonged sunshine can be just as unfriendly to outdoor materials as rain, only considerably sneakier about it. I appreciate the rip and tear resistant design when pulling the tarp into place, particularly around corners and irregularly shaped objects where cheaper material can feel like it's one tug away from retirement. The 8 mil thickness gives it a reassuring balance of durability and flexibility, so I can manipulate it around whatever I'm covering without feeling like I'm folding a sheet of plywood. What makes this tarp useful to me is simply the number of jobs it can handle without requiring much thought. It works as weather coverage, a protective layer for messy projects, temporary protection for supplies, or a general-purpose outdoor barrier when Mother Nature decides my weekend plans needed additional supervision. The combination of waterproofing, UV resistance, tear resistance, and a practical 10 x 12 foot footprint makes it versatile enough to keep around even when I don't have an immediate project waiting. As someone who has never bought or used a heavy-duty cover before, I was pleasantly surprised by how straightforwar and reliable this tarp is. Looking at the product pictures, it features reinforced metal grommets along reinforced edges and corners, which make securing it down over equipment, lumber, or outdoor furniture really easy even for a complete beginner. Many sizes to suit different needs; seems well constructed and durable

I wanted this tarp to cover firewood that we have stacked in the yard. I do think it will be suitable for that purpose. It feels strong and durable. The seams are double sewn and heat sealed which make it less likely that they'll separate. The grommets are aluminum and the corners of the tarp are reinforced with a rubber or silicone strip. I appreciate the fact that this tarp comes in so many sizes. You're sure to find a size that's suitable for whatever your need may be. The biggest issue with tarp longevity (in my opinion) is the damage caused by the sun. This tarp is supposed to be UV resistant so hopefully that will increase it's life span, especially since it'll be in the elements continuously in my case. I definitely expect it to keep the rain and snow off the firewood. I can't say for certain how it will hold up over the long haul since we haven't had any harsh weather yet but as I said, the thickness of it with the tight weave and solid construction lead me to feel confident that it will last through a few seasons of snow and rain.

Heavy-Duty Quality at a Great Price

This feels like a well-made, high-quality tarp. It has evenly spaced, reinforced grommets throughout, and the edges are reinforced and wrapped around a cord, which gives them a very solid feel. The corners also have plastic triangles that add extra reinforcement and should help prevent the corners from tearing or wearing out. Overall, the material feels heavy-duty, and I expect it to hold up well to the elements and regular use. For the quality and construction, I think this tarp is very reasonably priced. The one thing I will say though is that this thing stinks! When I first took it out of the package I was surprised by how bad it smelled. If you plan to use it indoors or in an enclosed area, I'd recommend letting it air out for a while before using it. Other than that, I’m very impressed with the construction and quality of this tarp, especially for the price.

Well worth the money for this durable tarp.

This tarp being 8 mil thick is thicker than most light duty tarps I have purchased in the past. I use my tarps to cover some outdoor entertainment equipment that otherwise would be sitting in the sun and weather all the time. As you can see in the pictures one side is blue and the other side is silver. Having grommets placed every twenty inches makes tying this tarp down easy and being made from aluminum they should not rust out. The corner grommets are reinforced with fairly heavy duty plastic material which will help to keep this tarp from tearing. The edges of this tarp are double stitched and heat sealed and are reinforced with a multi stranded poly rope stitched in for added strength and durability. At the price this tarp is currently at I think it is a great bargain.

I have gone through a whole lot of tarps in my 60+ years. This WEAVING YY Tarps Waterproof 10x12’, 8 Mil Thick Silver/Blue Poly Tarp, High Durability is one of the better ones. Usually, the packing on all tarps from the big box stores say “heavy duty” when in actuality, they are tissue paper thin. The price of those rare tarps that really are thick and heavy duty cost double of those flimsy ones. This tarp fits into the true heavy duty category. The exception is the price. I was really quite surprised at the quality and the low price point. Reasonably inexpensive for the quality of the tarp. Pleasantly surprised.

Seems To Be As Pictured And Described. Pretty Much A Light Duty Tarp

I've seen tarps, with these dimensions, called "firewood" tarps. And, they can certainly be used to cover stacks of firewood. However, they can also be used for trailers, stairs, walks and all sorts of things. This one was ordered due to its versatility. The tarp was delivered in 9 days which was just as expected. It was nicely folded, wrapped and in good shape upon delivery. As pictured and described, this one is silver on one side and bright blue on the other. The thickness seems adequate as does the stitching. Same for the grommets, The corners are lightly reinforced. This tarp is not heavy duty and I suspect it might last 6 months if continuously exposed to UV radiation, rain, etc. But, given it cost, that should be obvious. It is what it is. My use will not be continuous. So, it should work fine, for me, a week or two at a time.

This WEAVING YY 8’ x 10’ tarp is very well-made, completely free of cracks or tears, and the material thickness feels noticeably better most standard store-bought tarps. The size turned out to be perfect for my husband's needs, and the reinforced loop holes are sturdy enough to hold up against strong tension without ripping. I got this for my husband, to cover this work equipment on the back of his truck on long trips out of town and he has told me that, so far, it's held up to the task better than he expected. Price is reasonable for the quality, so I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, heavy-duty cover for any purpose.
