This tarp has been great for many different functions. I can use it not only to cover different items, but it has worked as a layer to help things from being scratched or damaged. This tarp is thick and durable. You can tell how thick it is as soon as you feel the material. It has withstood rain, but also the sun, and it has not easily torn in any way. I also like how the corner grommets/metal rings are extra stitched for extra durability. It helps to know that those corners are reinforced. As well, the edge of the tarp is reinforced, giving a greater durability to the tarp overall. This tarp has done a great job of keeping things dry, and because it is much thicker and durable, I'm not concerned with it easily getting torn or getting holes due to weathering. If you're looking for a heavy duty tarp, I would highly recommend this tarp. ... show more

This tarp is definitely heavy duty and well made. I like that there are metal grommets in the tarp so you can tie it down. This tarp is versatile so you can use it to cover things from the weather, prying eyes, or to protect things on the ground. There's so many uses.

This is a pretty nice tarp and would be a five star item if not for the price. At the price listed when I received the tarp, it is at the upper end of the price scale, and it is a nice tarp, but it falls short for a single yet important reason: grommet support. When you look at the packaging, you see nice double thick material supported corner grommets, and the way the manufacturer arranges the item, you see this extra supported corner grommet right away. It is only when you open the package and unfold the tarp do you realize that not all the grommets are supported and reinforced this way, but only the corner grommets. The other interior edge grommets are just plain old holes with crimp on grommet rings. No extra support at all. For the price, I would have expected support and reinforcement all the way around. The weave on the tarp material is very tight, and made of smaller width fibers than you typically find, allowing for this tight weave. Big plus, but to be expected at this price point. If only they had reinforced all the grommets, or dropped the price by 20% or more, then it would have been a five star item. As it is now: Four Star Heavy Duty Water Proof Tarp ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I got this tarp to cover the trunk of my car. I carry a lot of work tools in my trunk. Between rust, dirt, and water, the inside trunk of my car is at risk of major damage on any given day. I have a relatively nice vehicle. So finding a way to transport my work equipment without ruining the interior of my trunk is very important. This tarp has been my saving grace. It's thick and strong. It's also super huge so I can fold it over three times, and it still completely covers the entire lower half of my trunk. It has worked out perfectly. It has kept my trunk from being stained, ripped, and ruined. Plus, having it folded so well has helped on several occasions when I needed to cover the tools I was carrying due to rain. I just pulled back one layer and tucked it under the tools I was covering. This tarp is beyond heavy duty, in my opinion. It would be perfect for just about any purpose, especially for covering firewood or transporting landscaping materials. Alright it is a tarp. It has plenty of grommets and feels heavy duty. It covers our temporary chicken coop well to provide shade and jeep the predators out. Versatile and multi use tarp. As good as any heavy-duty tarp.

This tarp is extra thick which gives it that durable feel. I put this tarp to work soon after I got it by putting tree and bush trimmings on it and dragging it to the burn pile. It held up perfect. As far as I can see, I anticipate this tarp will last me many years of use whether it be putting sticks on it or putting leaves on it., or what ever use I need.
