We purchased these to help better secure the canopy top sides on a pop up shelter. Works great for this use. No longer does water pool on out gazebo edges and the cover stays put. Will find other great uses for these.

Great tie downs for a pool cover
Got a new above ground pool, and it came with a cover. However, we get 30-50 MPH winds all the time, so the little drawstring just didn't cut it. We bought three sets of these, one for each support, and looped two clips on each cord. It ain't coming off now!

Easy to install, works perfectly.
These little adjustable clamps were the perfect solution to our pergola cloth cover that would blow around and not stay squarely on the frame. 3 of these clamps on each side keep the cover were it's supposed to be. My only comply would be that the bungee balls were a little short relative to the size
of the beams on the pergola. This was easily remedied by using a few longer bungee balls I had from another cover. The adjustment knob on the clamp is genius!

These are the cat's meow but, being plastic, dunno how long they'll last exposed to our AZ sun. Anyway, the mechanical genius is in the simple screw-down clamp versus the cumbersome slider lock that is a pain to secure and ridiculously stubborn to un-clamp, sometimes having to use pliers. The bungee
cords accompanying these screw-down clips were a welcome bonus...JS

Great idea but they lack "bite."
These little adjustable jaws are designed to screw down and grasp the material you're holding but they don't keep their grip very long. Whether it's changing temperatures or lack no of an aggressive grip, these clamps simply won't stay clamped onto vinyl tarps. They work better on canvas or on someth
ing with a folded, themed edge. If you use them on the right materials they work well and stay put for several weeks. Use them on the wrong materials and they might come off later the same day when a breeze kicks up.

using these to hang carpets for 'beating' out the dust and dirt.
Holds the carpet well, as I hang on a bar in the yard. beat them with a broom to get out dust and dirt, then hose them down, soap them up, scrub them, hose them down with high pressure, then let them drip dry... clips hold them solid during all that. If I need more, I'm buying these.

Secured our camping tablecloth!
I had tried TableBandZ but in the wind, they didn’t do the job. But 4 pairs of these clips, connected with short bungees under the table, kept that cloth in place during the strongest gusts!

Life savers! Definitely recommend
Bought them twice and would buy again if needed. These clips helped keep tarps in place in a huge windstorm. Love them

Works well for fort building
I purchased these for indoor fort-building, but will likely use them for camping when the weather gets better. This review is just for the current use. Pros: I liked the easy to use twist-down snaps to tighten. I wasn't too worried about them pinching my finger as it was easy to control the tightness
. I used these to affix sheets together and hang from hooks. The mini bungees were useful to tie cloth to a pole. Bead-type thing made it easy to get another loop around to truly tighten it. Cons: The twist-down snaps are a little light weight. I'm concerned that they won't be tight enough to hold cloth down when it is windy, but it's hard to tell. Bungees are tiny--I would want a few other larger sizes ideally. I'd recommend combining this set with a larger set of hook bungees.

These clips are great for holding a tarp, table cloth, cloths, whatever. They appear strong enough, but I feel in a high wind or strong gust situation we may see a different story. At the price you really can't beat this convenience item!

I got these because we inevitably have a tarp or a pool cover or tent that needs some help staying in place. The big ball functionality reminds me of the ponytail holders I had when I was a kid in the 80s. It’s not just nostalgic, it works well to hold something secure even if you have a closed loop
where a traditional elastic band could not work. I also really like the functionality of the clips, which actually screw down to stay tight, not relying upon hinges. These are a great little dude dad to keep around the house for multiple uses.

Inexpensive and seem to be good
Good bite and lock on these clips. I have not had a chance to test them in high winds. They do a good job for normal use, but when holding a tarp as a wind block, I am concerned the jaws will rip through the tarp.

I got these for my wife's car cover
It is a nice car cover, but it has very few straps. And she thinks she can be driving around on the freeway with it - obviously it is for a car restoration project being trailered. So I saw these and thought she could add a whole lot of extra points that will distribute the stress on the car cover ov
er a much greater area. And they work. She put them on and connected them using bungy cords. No tears. No disasters with the cover flying off and landing on someone else's windshield at highway speeds. The cover just stayed where it was supposed to stay. I do think over time they likely would start the material ripping at the contact point, but for non-freeway speeds they would be ideal. And they are a great idea when using for storage. Very easy to put on. Very inexpensive. And they work. Good product.
