The media could not be loaded. Been using for 50,000 miles now at full tilt in a very confined space. Such an awesome amplifier. It does the same power output at 2 ohm as 0.5ohm but with way more efficiency so I can drive both of my skar 12in EVLs for hours no issues. Gets no more than slightly warm to the touch in the mid of summer. You absolutely will need wire couplers like I have to be able to properly feed the amp enough wire for its max output. Recommend a 0-4 gauge reducer or a double 4 gauge in like I have. I noticed significantly more power output when I went from single 4 to double. 1.5ft power runs to note. ... show more

I have been into car audio for over 30 years. I was replacing a $1200 Kicker KXA 2400.1 with this amp, the Taramps - The Big Boss 3. I watched a Youtube video by Williston Audio Labs that showed it was actually under-rated and I trust his videos so I bought it. I am running two 15" American Bass Elites in a ported box tuned at 35Hz at 1 ohm. The amp was under $300 and sounds as good, produces more power, is much smaller, and is slamming my two 15" American Bass Elite subs harder than my old $1200 Kicker amp! I am super impressed! Trust me. I've been through a ton of different amps over the years and if I am telling you this amp is legit, you can believe it! Just make sure you have the big three upgrade to your vehicle before installing an amp this powerful (alternator, 0 gauge OFC copper wire, and a good enough battery or batteries). ... show more

Great amp! I have a smaller 800 watt four channel version that I put on my sub woofer because my JL audio amp died. Wow is all I could say…so I bought this more powerful version. I have more than enough power and high quality bass than I need now. Don’t let the affordable price deter you because this is a good quality amp in my opinion…no it’s not pricey JL audio but I certainly have no regrets on switching to Taramps. ... show more

I've ordered three of these amplifiers one of them went into protect And never came out. The second one never played a sound the 3rd amplifier played two days them stopped and never played a sound again

    • 7k Dynamic! It slaps!
Taramps once again using some weird 2ga or 1 ga size wire input, and different sized allen keys, and slightly noisy fans, but once again delivering the slaps for a bargain. When you push it really hard, the red protect light flickers a bit, which means the amp is really at it's limit, tickling the protection circuit. Of course at this level, the clip light is pretty much steady on every decent note. And that dynamic power, you can tell it's a bigger amp toned down and regulated. These feel so cheap, this amp was worse than my regular Bass 3k, waste of money, you can really tell how cheap these feel when you get em.
