Killer little amplifier. If you would have told me 10 years ago that this little amplifier puts out 3000+ watts, I would have smacked you back to reality lol. I just got back into car stereo in the last two years and I'm extremely happy and impressed with this amp. I'm driving a single 15" Rockville destroyer and it's sounds phenomenal. Since I came from the jl1000 era, I never understood how important extra batteries and battery cable size means. This is a thirsty little monster. I have 0/1 cable and a 200 amp alternator and it's not nearly enough juice and thankfully it goes into protection for low voltage clipping. After figuring this out, I'm in the process of welding up a battery tray for the trunk, obviously for an extra battery. I also bought battery terminal and amplifier terminal adapters that can use two separate 0/1 wires. Hopefully this will allow enough current to supply the amp what it needs. This is a good amplifier and if you have any issues with it shutting off when the bass hits and you turn it up just a couple more notches, it's not the amp, you're not giving it enough power..... Also would recommend an in dash digital volt meter, the taramps remote bass knob and a higher output alternator. I'll update with some pictures and hopefully I can find a reasonably priced spl meter by the time I update

I have a pair of the B-boss 3k's mounted in the fronk of my 2019 Tesla model 3 performance. on a custom amp rack with 6awg going to the back for the subs. to power them is 3 stage system, stage 1 is a Orion XS DC-DC 50A as i just had it around. this feeds a 12v 460Ah LiFePo4 battery bank this has a set of 500F cap bank on the end of it feeding the amps. i can charge at a full 50A apx 750w ish and with 460Ah i also have a 1500w inverter (both the inverter and victron are mounted under the fronk for better air flow. all feeds a pair of sundown Xv3 12" subs in a custom box

The media could not be loaded. Been using for 50,000 miles now at full tilt in a very confined space. Such an awesome amplifier. It does the same power output at 2 ohm as 0.5ohm but with way more efficiency so I can drive both of my skar 12in EVLs for hours no issues. Gets no more than slightly warm to the touch in the mid of summer. You absolutely will need wire couplers like I have to be able to properly feed the amp enough wire for its max output. Recommend a 0-4 gauge reducer or a double 4 gauge in like I have. I noticed significantly more power output when I went from single 4 to double. 1.5ft power runs to note.

Great amp! I have a smaller 800 watt four channel version that I put on my sub woofer because my JL audio amp died. Wow is all I could say…so I bought this more powerful version. I have more than enough power and high quality bass than I need now. Don’t let the affordable price deter you because this is a good quality amp in my opinion…no it’s not pricey JL audio but I certainly have no regrets on switching to Taramps.

I have been into car audio for over 30 years. I was replacing a $1200 Kicker KXA 2400.1 with this amp, the Taramps - The Big Boss 3. I watched a Youtube video by Williston Audio Labs that showed it was actually under-rated and I trust his videos so I bought it. I am running two 15" American Bass Elites in a ported box tuned at 35Hz at 1 ohm. The amp was under $300 and sounds as good, produces more power, is much smaller, and is slamming my two 15" American Bass Elite subs harder than my old $1200 Kicker amp! I am super impressed! Trust me. I've been through a ton of different amps over the years and if I am telling you this amp is legit, you can believe it! Just make sure you have the big three upgrade to your vehicle before installing an amp this powerful (alternator, 0 gauge OFC copper wire, and a good enough battery or batteries).
