Stays cool all the time and the fan isn’t annoying like people say, I have a stock alternator and regular Walmart battery on a 05 GMC Sierra powering this wired to 1 ohm on 2 skar Evl 15s. Metered 120 db, which isn’t loud but for stock it hits hard and gives the doors a little flex. If you want to run this thing full tilt for long periods a hi output alternator and battery bank is necessary, I am ordering an xs power d3100 for under the hood and a limitless cyber 6k lithium for the back. The media could not be loaded. For those that gave a neg review y'all crazy I got this beast pushing a monster FI BTL-4 and it gets low and shakes everything I recommend this for subs and MD for mids the BASS 8k is Deeper than the MD 8k bottom line this amp for subs!!! Impressed

It’s a power monster and has lots of power but it will drain your voltage down quick so make sure you have upgraded your electrical

This amp has been doing great so far. I have it hooked up at 1 ohm to a pair of 15's and I am hitting 150dB. Very good price and great sound. I will say the cooling fan is loud, but it is doing it's job.

1 month review: After upgrading my electrical such as big 3, secondary battery and double 1/0 power and ground wires, I’m very impressed with this amp. I will be upgrading to 2x ZVX15 @ 0.5 ohms. I will update I’m review again. Initial review: So this is the second BASS 8k, first one went into protect from the start. So far no issues with the new amp, sound is pretty good. Gets the job done, currently running two on 4 vxf 15's and I am getting more power than i need...moving on two 3 15's on each amp and i can bet you I will not have any problems with power from these monsters
