I thought a number of these cheaper and propane hot water heaters. The funny thing is if you hook up a garden hose to them they don't leak and they work fine but when you're trying to hook up half inch PEX to them you have to use the rubber washers inside and tighten the hell out of them and the ones that are not made well often the outlet will snap. This one is made a little better than most of the ones on the cheaper end and you can tighten it a great deal without breaking it. I was able to hook it up with no leaks and it worked instantly and stays running and that's really all you can ask. ... show more

The unit never worked. No digital display ever lit up, no water heated, no gas circulated. I contacted Amazon about it but it was after the product warranty return expired in 30 days. I was being treated for cancer and missed the deadline.

It’s small, light and easy to carry around. The setup is very easy, and it gives hot water almost instantly. May be takes less than 15 minutes. I also like that it has a safety features like protection from overheating and freezing, so I don’t have to worry about it getting damaged or any accidents. The system so far is working great. I give it 4 stars because it is easy to use. We will see if it holds up after time. I have it plug in to are travel trailer, the hot showers are great. The gas used is a lot less then the gas used in the trailer system.
