Camp shower worked well especially if you can use it without plugging in to electricity. What I did with my setup was: 1. Get an adapter to attached the end of the propane to a 1lb propane instead of a huge 20 lb one. 2. Get a pump that uses recharged battery built-in. There is 1 inlet for water, which I inserted my outlet of my pump to. The pump that I used is fully submerged in a bucket of water or you can use just the hose and insert it in your water source. The is another inlet for propane, which I used the supplied hose with regulator to attached to a 1 lb adapter and then attach it to my 1 lb propane. Just keep in mind to do this outdoors. When I unscrew the propane, the adapter was still attached and it caused the propane to shoot out and it wasn't pleasant. Also wear some protective gloves. This is for if you are using the Qcc-1 to 1lb adapter which was not supplied. I mod this by watching some videos. The last outlet was to your shower spray which was included as well. I ended up using my own spray. Both the water inlet and shower outlet fit a standard garden hose type fittings. The gas line to propane was what appears to be a 5/8 to propane QCC1. Hope that helps. The unit itself was solid and takes 2 D batteries which was not included. There is now warm or hot shower whenever I go camping. I plan to look for a case to put this in. As far as where to place it, I have it hung up on my car's roof rack when I'm using it. Installation was simple and easy, just take your time and be extra careful when dealing with propane related units. I plan to get a propane gas detector to check for leaks and update my 1 lb adapter with one that has a shut off valve. It is priced right and works just as any fancy ones that cost 4-5 times as much, easily.

I bought this for camping, thinking it would be nice to have hot water for doing the dishes as well as a shower. This unit produces 1.4 gallons of steaming hot water per minute, and takes about two seconds to heat up. It comes with a hand held shower attachment and hooks up to a standard propane tank. The unit seems to be durable, which is nice since it goes with my camping stuff. I find that adjusting the temperature was easy using the knobs on the front of the device which will control the temperature as well as the flow of the water. This was worth the money I spent and I'm very happy with this purchase.

This little unit will make all the difference when my son goes camping. It’s pretty lightweight, easy to assemble. I was surprised at how well made it is. It’s not flimsy, easy to control and provides the hot water needed when camping from the jeep. Great buy!

We set up the VANSTON propane water heater at our cabin for the outdoor shower, and it’s been perfect for those chilly mornings. The installation was a breeze—took only about 10 minutes. It’s super lightweight and the folding handle makes it easy to store when not in use. The water heats up quickly, and we’re getting a steady flow with no issues, even in the wilderness. The adjustable temperature feature is great, and we’re loving the hot showers. The safety features like low flow and overheat protection make me feel confident in its reliability. The only thing I’d say is that the flow rate could be a little stronger, but for the size and portability, it’s still a great deal. Totally worth it!

Effective easy to use hot water wherever you need it. It is easy to install where you want it and because it works on propane you can use it off grid. The water temperature heats up fast and is as much as you want. I haven’t had any leaks. Great unit.

This has really helped me for camping. It’s been terrific to use and easy to set up. Good price and the temperature of the water is very pleasant for the family and especially the kids. Easy to do anything with. Good quality and functions flawlessly. Can wash a lot with it. No leaking. For the price it’s well worth it !

The media could not be loaded. I'm not sure why they did White for A camping item, but the unit looks very nice and white. The Finish is nice and glossy. I think if I had a choice, I might have picked a gray or off black color, but perhaps it has something to do with the possibility of it being in the sun, then warming up and messing with the thermometer or thermostat. I can see if it were black, you might heat up in the Sun, and it could affect the way it operates. The unit does look very nice. It can be mounted permanently, or it can be mobile and hung up on whatever you can find. If you're camping and there are no heated showers available, a person might fall in love with this little unit. I'm pleased with it, it looks good, and it doesn't seem flimsy. The knobs feel fine, the controls feel okay. It might have been a good idea to put some sort of shielding around them since it's a camping item, and if it gets moved around, it might get bumped often.
