It's a good quality cover in 3 layers and the rubberized base is really nice. Didn't have to put velcro on my dash. I like it better than the common carpet style covers, it has a more "polished" and elegant look. while many other reviews mentioned issues with creases in the cover due to packaging, I found it simple to resolve. I laid the pad on a table, used a wet rage to run the length of the pad over the creases. Then rolled the pad up and put in the dryer with the damp towel for a few minutes on low heat. Rolled the pad up again and set it outside in the sun. 2 hours later there were no more creases, the pad was smooth. It fits my jeep dash perfectly and looks great.

Living in a sunny climate, my primary reason for seeking a dashboard cover was to protect my Honda Civic's interior from UV damage and to mitigate the distracting glare on the windshield. The benchmark for any cover was that it must offer a precise fit, effectively reduce reflections, and have a quality appearance that complements the car's interior. The product's initial state upon arrival required some simple preparation. As is common with shipped dash mats, it came folded and had several noticeable creases. However, this was easily remedied. I simply laid the cover out on the dashboard of the car, and after a couple of hours in the sun, the material relaxed and flattened out almost completely, conforming to the shape of the dash. Once flattened, the cover's fit and functional benefits were the main points of evaluation. The cut of the mat is very precise for a 10th-generation Civic, with all cutouts for vents and sensors aligning correctly. The suede-like material offers a more polished look than traditional carpeted mats, and the non-slip backing grips the dashboard well enough that I have not needed to use the included adhesive strips. Most importantly, it has significantly reduced the amount of glare on the windshield, making for a more comfortable driving experience. In the final analysis, this dashboard cover is a high-quality accessory that delivers on both form and function. The initial creasing from packaging is a minor issue that resolves itself with a little heat and patience. For its precise fit, quality material, and effectiveness at reducing glare, this mat stands as a recommended and worthwhile addition for protecting the vehicle's interior.

Size: dash mat for Toyota RAV4 2013-2018
I love this dash cover. It helps block the glare from the sun on the dash. It doesn't go anywhere when the windows are open and the wind is blowing. It's easy to take it out and clean it off and put it right back in. It's also nice that I can just tuck some important paperwork underneath and it doesn't move or go anywhere. There are openings for the vents and your speakers. Is something ever happened to mine I would definitely order it again.

I've purchased three dash mats over the past 2-3 or so years. When I bought the first one, I don't recall ever seeing any others available that had a silicone non-slip backing. It came with double sided tape, but I didn't want to put tape goo on my new car dash, especially if the heat would melt the tape and leave a trail of goo. I was therefore constantly having to reposition it from sliding around. I thought there has to be something better. I recently looked for a new dash mat, but now I saw there are some with a silicone non-slip backing. The second one worked great, but the cut was far inferior. It was short in some places, and too long in others, even though I had jammed it back into where the dash and windshield meet. It was also different than the product photos, and covered the light sensor. I'm returning that second one. I'll also mention though, it came rolled up in the packaging, so I just had to lay it flat for a day and then it laid out on the dash pretty well. I would have kept, if the cut/fit was better. I then bought this product. The cut is pretty much perfect, the light sensor isn't covered, and the silicone non-slip backing works well. The problem is, it looks like it's been folded up (instead of rolled) in it's packaging and left on a shelf for a significant amount of time, to the point where the fabric of the most inner folded flap is frayed / kind of partially cut. The seller had contacted me, so I responded by telling them the issue, specifically about the damaged fabric. Their solution was for me to lay it flat (longer than I had already), iron it, or put it in the dryer. I again mentioned the damaged fabric. Their response was the crease will fade with time, I could try a hair drier, or fold it in the opposite direction for 24 hours (again, no response to the damaged / frayed fabric). At that point I asked them to stop contacting me, because they obviously were not reading or understanding my messages. Well, they still decided to message me again, asking for photos, etc. I, again, reminded them that I didn't want any further contact. However, they've just sent me another message. I'm not sure how to block them, but I'm done dealing with this company. Maybe you'll get one that's been folded over in the package for a shorter amount of time, so maybe yours will be acceptable? Hopefully they'll learn to roll it up, and then they can leave it on a shelf for however long they want. Lastly, I'll mention that it is a suede type material. So if you run your hand over some of it in one direction, and then in another direction next or near to it, it looks like two different shades of black. This doesn't really bother me, but it may to you. I'm also a little concerned with how this suede type material will hold up in the sun. It's a little hard to tell at this point (when it's brand new) if this is made of that cheap sude type material that will just start disintegrating, like black dust coming off of it, with extended sun and heat exposure.

I ordered this probably for the same reasons other did. My leather on the dashboard began to lift and figured this would look better and protect the dash from further damage. While this fits pretty good, There could be more work for it. The installation was super easy and the material looks nice and is easy to clean. Issues start with the adhesive points. For one there isn’t enough of them or in good enough spots. Also I ended up getting strong double sided tape as the adhesive on the pieces they give you are terrible. The next part is it never fully lays flat, especially on the “top” part of the dash cover closer to the windshield vent areas. It looks awful. I ended up putting double sided tape around those areas and even under the middle part just so it would all lay flat. Other than that the product does what it’s meant for. Would i recommend this product? Sure, but I’d advise you will need double sided tape and you’ll need to make more attachment points then they had attached to the product.

I recently bought a pre-owned 2018 CRV EX. The night I took it home I hadn't had a chance to detail the windshield myself and I found myself dealing with the reflection of my dashboard with oncoming traffic. The next day I bought some glass cleaner made my glasses pristine as possible, and it ultimately reduced the glare quite a bit but I don't want to have that issue so I found this mat. While I am suffering from wrinkles currently it doesn't seem like it's hard to manage and in these Florida Summers I know eventually it will smooth out I think you just need to keep on pressing it stretching it everyday or toss it in the dryer on a low setting for a bit. This works exactly as intended. EDIT! Looks like the FL heat really made a difference day one! So many wrinkles dropped and it's so much smoother. I still want to remove it, flip it over and roll against the creases just a little but dash covers, are underrated.
