Remove the inlet hose from the heater. Open the water supply valve or pump. Check for steady water flow and sufficient pressure. 2. Try replacing the gas cylinder or pressure regulator. The water heater is leaking gas and won't work? 1. Apply soapy water to the connections. If bubbles appear, tighten the screws. 2. We are so excited about our new water heater. It arrived quickly and safely since it was packaged well. The best feature of a tankless water heater is that they are more energy-efficient than traditional water heaters because they only heat the water when needed, reducing energy waste. The design of this water heater is slim and compact, making it perfect for use in an RV or boat. It provides quick hot water with the use of a propane tank. It works just like a regular water heater & mixes easily with cold water. If you want to conserve water while using it you can turn off your shower or sink and lather up and turn it back on. The cool thing about this unit is that the water maintained a warm temp even when shutting it off. You can also set your temps ahead of time so that its ready to go when you want to use it and has the perfect temperature when you turn on your water. It is impressive that it doesn’t seem to be affected by the water source. So if its super cold or warm it doesn’t affect the pre-set temperature. This is extremely important when traveling in the desert to colder climates. The instructions are detailed and clear making installation super easy. It can be easily drained to store for later use. Set up was easy enough, it ignited and seemed to work as it should, but found it shuts down after 10 minutes or less and has to be restarted. Used it like that for a couple days and then it just wouldn't ignite. Discovered if I turned to water to the lowest setting it would ignite but the minute you start to turn up the water flow even a little it shuts off. Useless - what can you do with a trickle of water. I am now told it is not returnable or refundable! That's customer service! I would only give it a half star if that was an option. ... show more

Arrived fast. The install was super easy, we screwed it to a 4x4 post that we put in the ground and added some pavers for the propane tank to sit on. I bought this to use in the outdoor bar on my boat. Works as intended and I would recommend to anyone who needs hot water and has a propane tank handy. The included shower head is actually better than the marine one I had. If anything the water can get too hot, but for the price it's well worth it. The parts do feel a tad cheap to hold but again for the price I don't blame them. I only knocked a star off because I ordered the last one they had at the time with 2 day shipping. I dunno if there was an inventory snafu or Amazon messed up the shipping but it took a couple weeks to show up. When it did the box had been opened and resealed with red tape. I dunno what was up with that but otherwise highly recommend if you need easy endless hot water for cheap. ... show more

This is horrible! I copied a review from another because they said EXACTLY my experience. You have been warned. I am surprised at the good reviews this product has because this is the worst product we have purchased on Amazon. Temperature fluctuates from one extreme to the other. Many times we could not get the heater to kick on so it left us with a very very cold shower. We had to keep trying to turn the water off and on to finally get it to somewhat work... and mind you...we're standing there in our outdoor shower, freezing our hinders off while soaped up. When we were able to actually get the heat to work, it got scalding, so we would try to adjust it and it would shut off. Can't express enough how very disappointed we were with this. Also, they would not allow a return and we were well in 30 days of purchase. ... show more
