    • Overall Im pretty happy with my selection.
I have been using it for about a month now, The overall machine is pretty large and heavy for IGBT, typically indicating a good quality components, MIG setup, and its synergetic settings are spot on. I also got a TIG pedal and overall it works, what I can not understand is why gas solenoid doesn't work in TIG mode and the TIG torch uses manual gas valve. LOTOS, this is stupid, you are putting a wooden carriage wheels on Maserati. I am going to open it up an see if I can make a mod to take advantage of the solenoid and pre.post flow settings. Spool gun worked great for Aluminum fabrications. In the end, I can not imagine what I would not be able to weld with this machine. Just perhaps a fine aluminum TIF stacked dimes, but I can get close enough for me with its spool gun. Aside from a The welder feels right Noticeably it is not being promoted on internet like Arccaptain, Yeswelder and Tooliom, but I think Lotos is better in every aspect than any of those (I had a Yeswelder and also have a Tooliom HF TIG) which are not bad, I just feel Lotos is a better quality welder. ... show more

This Lotos welder had me on the fence about buying it. I’ve been welding for over 30 years. I’ve used miller, Lincoln, century, Htp etc. this is just as good if not better then machines that cost thousands more then it. Easy to adjust and setup. I’ve been on a quest to find affordable inverter welders. I have a year old millermatic 211pro. This machine is without a doubt on the same level as the miller and it came with a spool gun that works flawlessly. The millermatic spool gun costs more than this whole package. The customer service is easy to get ahold of. I was missing a drive roller when I got it. I call on a weekend left a voicemail and Monday morning at 9 they called me back and 3 days later it was in my mailbox. Don’t hesitate to buy this just pull the trigger and buy it you won’t be disappointed. ... show more

    • Lotus technology has great products
first of all the user/setup manual needs some attention,not a bad machine,there are some designs changes that would improve this machine,but it's not a bad product, it's worth the money,one other thing if you need to adjust settings outside factory settings you might be disappointed,but there are work arounds, we'll see if it pays for itself ... show more

    • Best bang for buck
I’ve had this a few month now, in an auto repair shop setting, and I’ve really put this thing through the wringer. I’ve used it to put a new tounge in a trailer, weld up some floors on a project, plenty of exhaust, welded a crack in an aluminum transmission, and 2 frame patches. The only time the duty cycle was ever a concern was when I did the trailer tounge but it was very hot outside so taking regular breaks was nice anyway. Only problem I’ve has so far is I melted the leather (got a little to into a bead on that trailer) inside the mig gun cone, and it comes with new cones! My only regret is not registering my warranty just in case ... show more

    • Don't expect any help from the useless "user manual".
Clearly, the people responsible for designing the welder never communicated with the people who made the "user manual", in quotes because it ain't that! There are absolutely no instructions on setting up and using the machine, other than the typical Chinese multi-level, multi-function complex menu structure with abbreviations and terms only a professional welder would know. The terms used were clearly for people who had many years of experience using Mig, Tig and Stick welders but zero help or at least definitions of the abbreviations for the home user using this clearly non-professional machine. I had to use AI to search for info and videos on how to load the spool, what DCEP, DCEN, MMA, inductance setting, GMAW, FeCO2 and so on meant. ... show more

No solda en MiG eficientemente hierro y otros materiales ferrosos. Nunca he podido soldar con aluminio ni con la pistola, el gas Argón y cumpliendo todas las especificaciones y reglas de tablas técnicas. Equipo malo. Como lo puedo devolver o tener una garantía ?

La próxima vez se debe aclarar que hay que recoger personalmente esos pedidos para no realizarlos por costos de transporte adicional que no corresponden a un pedido de valor mínimo.

I was extremely on the fence about this machine but once I got it and realized it was well built and sized like a portable should be plus it offered every function I needed you can’t beat it for the price and size!
