The media could not be loaded. I am very happy with this unit. After wrapping all of the inlets with Teflon tape, I realized that in order to connect your garden hose, you will need to get a male/male adapter down to 1/2”. This was in stock at my small town hardware store. I hand tightened all of the connections and then gave it a slight tightening with a wrench. When you insert the batteries, angle the batteries past the tabs. It’s a poor design, but with a little patience they slide into the compartment past the tabs no problem. Just don’t force it because you will break those annoying plastic tabs. The case and finish on the unit is great. It’s very thick and solid and feels high quality. After I connected everything with the gas and water in, it fired right up !! The pressure is as high as anything I’ve ever had in a house and maybe better. The pressure is great. It was starting to storm just as I got everything connected and so I forgot to check the water temp at the highest flow rate and set in “winter” setting, but it was hot to the touch and probably way too hot for a shower. To cool it down a little, you just turn it more towards the “summer” side. The shower head isn’t the highest quality, but it works great nonetheless. For the price, I’d never complain. A high pressure shower head would be easy to replace if you want to upgrade, but the stock unit is fine. Overall, I give this unit a 5/5 star rating. I don’t know what more you could ask for. It’s great !!

No matter what we do the thing won’t go to a good temperature. It waits burns us or it is too cold. It’s a piece of garbage. We don’t have the gasoline to go and take it back because of unforeseen problems we have. If we weren’t broke right now it would definitely go back! Makes us infuriated. They should be regulated so that they couldn’t get away with selling garbage like this and costing people a bunch of problems! And the thing that holds the shower head is nothing but sticky paper and won’t stick to anything. It has to be glued, caulked or maybe screwed through the paper part to hold it up. What cheap junk! Can’t even use it. And the person that put it on a wheel chair, that’s stupid cuz it melted the wheel chair we tried to use it on. We put it inside a 2x2.6 shed but there’s no room in it with the doors closed. But no matter what we have tried we can’t get the water to be normal for bathing and showering. They should be sued for scalding peoples skin….or freezing them. We went and got the solar showers n they are far better than this n it takes no propane! This sucks the propane down almost as fast as the water! Junk! I read the reviews n thought maybe it is just a fluke but it’s not! They are made that way….To not work right!

Purchased this with some hesitancy!! But EASY install and works PERFECT for our off grid shower!! Even runs great with gravity feed. (We have about 7 psi on gravity feed) But we also have a 12v rv pump just in case. A++++ product!!

This heater lasted for about 3 months of daily use. It was exceptionally easy to install (as well as remove) and did a decent job of maintaining a good shower temperature. Not perfect but adequate. Then it stopped firing one day. I suspect the solenoid that opens the gas valve went bad but of course there are no parts available so it went to the scrap yard. The shower head is laughably cheap and fell apart after a few weeks, not a big deal but it does point to the overall quality level which is just a bit too low. Ok well here we are 24 hours since I posted this review and the seller has sent me a full refund. Nothing I asked for nor expected and I gotta say that’s some quality customer service. They even specifically sails I didn’t have to change my review but free showers for a couple months. I’ll have to go up to fur stars and who knows, if the solenoid hadn’t broken maybe it would have lasted for years. So there you go. Nothing to lose by buying one, that’s for sure.

Like others, mine did come not working..I have never worked on anything propane BTW..After searching some YouTube videos on flame igniting for 1 sec and turning off then clicking, I removed front white cover with 2 small screws on bottom…I checked all electric plugs were secure than at the top of unit there are 3 wires that go into burner..my left wire was too far from igniter…I bent it in until it was roughly half an inch away like the one on right side and it turned on instantly and problem fixed!!!! I am using this with a 5 gpm pump as a Intex pool propane water heater…water temp on city hose water is 50deg…the water temp of heated water is 122 on low and 104 on high…. I am by no way a mechanic and propane does scare me but the regulator on tank makes it all safe…I did not want to return the unit and wait for another so I decided to fix myself like others on here….it’s very easy, hope this helps someone who is frustrated like I was

I bought this and it worked great. Winter was coming so I removed the drain screw and emptied as much water as possible. Today I hooked it all back up and the thing is leaking from the “heater core” or whatever the radiator part is where water is heated. It’s rusting under the paint as well which I wouldn’t care about normally. But since it’s no longer functional why not tell all. Had some good showers from it but now it’s just garbage and doesn’t even work at all. It not repairable either.

It worked just fine out of the box. I recommend Teflon tape and you will need an adapter for the inlet port if you want to use a garden hose. It is 1/2 inch NPT male. I did the leak test they recommended for the gas and had no water leaks either. Just turn on the water and it fills that big tub in about 25 minutes. It's 50° out and I had to turn the hot temperature down from 90% to about 70%. Better than I expected. Update: 15 hot baths later... I am amazed. I'm working on a little bit of economization of propane but it will definitely fill up my 80 gallon inflatable bathtub in 37°F at whatever temperature I can stand. 106, then 120 for short bursts. The logo for high and low water flow is backwards, lol. Works awesome!
