  • Great heater
I’m am super happy with the performance of this heater. I put it in the living quarters of my horse trailer for hot water in my sink. It heats almost instantly and gets really hot. Great little heater.

  • Installed two units both defective
I am going to try one more time with a third replacement but the first one had a small internal leak that came out the box with error code E2. The second gives an error code E4 stating temperature sensor failure of outlet water and it keeps shutting the unit off. I like the compact design, the display and features but if the device can't heat the water and if every device is busted on arrival why are these products even made? ... show more

  • Works Okay...Maybe/Kinda/Sorta
UPDATE: 02-01-25 RATING LOWERED TO 2 STAR After using in our cargo trailer camper conversion for the summer/fall months, I have changed my opinion on whether or not I would purchase again. I know that in general it looks like a really neat little tankless hot water heater but due to built-in design requirements/restrains (i.e. water flow requirements) and power needs above the normal 110 (15-20 amps) that is standard in the US, I would not purchase again...this one or any like it from other vendors. NOTE...if you really dig deeply into the descriptions/specs and reviews from others, you will probably find that it is noted/pointed out that these little heaters need 3500 watts or greater to function correctly...more than what the normal US 110 (15-20 amps) can provide. We really hoped that it would have worked but having to run it and mess with the flow rate to get the hot water going, it caused our gray tank to fill up way-to-quickly...sometimes is would take 2-3 minutes to get the flow rate set at the faucet to get warm/hot water. Also, due to the higher-than-normal power pull (power pull above our US 110 15–20-amp receptacles), it would throw the breaker at the RV power connection on 30-amp shore power plugs...if plugged into our 110 plug at home using a heavy duty (12-3 gauge) extension cord, it would throw our 20 amp home breaker within 45-50 seconds. Since my original review, I've looked at reviews by other people that have bought this same type/category hot water heater from other vendors and many seem to be having the same type issues that we have experienced with ours. AT THIS POINT...we will be purchasing a small/mini (1.3 gallon) hot water heater with an actual holding tank and one that only pulls approx. 1400-1500 watts while heating. My apologies for the "long-windedness" but I just wanted to be as accurate/thorough/fair about the review as possible. Hopefully in the future, the manufacturers of these little hot water heaters will come up with a model/line that will work with the US 110 (15-20 amp) power supply standards. ======================================= ORIGINAL REVIEW WITH SPELLING/GRAMATICAL CORRECTIONS: ORIGINAL RATING: 3 STARS If possible, to give a 3+ rating...I would! I would probably purchase again if it holds up long enough for me to get my money's worth out of it but I would probably try a different brand/model for one like it. The little hot water heater will work okay (maybe/kinda/sorta) but not anywhere close/consistent as an actual home unit connected to a 220v power supply. I purchased it to use in my cargo trailer toy hauler conversion (small/compact/no blow-off pipe needed) and it will get really hot for 3-4 seconds (i.e. hot enough to burn your fingers...45-47 degrees Celsius) but immediately drops down to roughly 32-36 degrees Celsius for 8-12 seconds. After being slightly warm, it will jump back up to approx. 40-42 degrees Celsius (60%-70% of the time) if I turn down the flow rate with the on/off handle to where the flow is substantially slower...it is functional but not a very strong stream...we have a sprayer setting on the spout and that helps. Unless it totally stops running during the warranty period, I'll probably keep it. My wife told me that she was okay with it and that the 32-36 degrees Celsius was warm enough to wash her face at night. NOTE/IMPORTANT FACT...I read another review and the person explained that if you turn the flow rate down to a slower rate (I did this first using the on/off handle), the heater would perform better because a flow rate through it that is too fast doesn't give enough time to heat the water correctly...again, that worked okay kinda/maybe/sorta but it was a pain trying to get the on/off leaver in the right spot...I want to just walk up and turn the faucet to the on position and it work correctly/normal. I hope this information is helpful and I'm appreciative to the person that did the review that shed light on the importance of having a slower flow rate running through it. If you don't have the patience and/or need very hot water for extended amounts of time, you may want to look into a 220V type tankless or go with a hot water heater that has an actual tank that heats/holds water in it...I considered a small a hot water heater with a 1.3 gallon holding capacity but it would have taken up much more room and would have required a blow-off valve pipe/hose. ... show more

  • GOOD PRODUCT, BUT IT MAY TRIP YOUR BREAKER IF SET TO HIGH.
Color: White-Portrait
I've had this unit now for about 3 months for my bathroom. So far, it has worked very well. The only thing that I would warn everyone of, is that, if you have other things on the same circuit, it will trip your breaker when used on high. Also it takes about 30-60 sec. before you will have hot water. I also use one of the small 4 gal. tank type in my kitchen. I tend to like it better because delivers instant hot water and it has never tripped a breaker. The downside of the tank, is that it cost twice as much as this unit, which is why I decided to try this type. So far, both types are working perfectly as described, but just know that the cheaper one, may need you make sure that lights etc. on the same circuit, may need to be turned off if you want to use it on the high setting, to avoid tripping a 15 amp. breaker. A dedicated circuit, would be ideal for this type of product. ... show more

  • Works on low water flow
Color: White-Portrait
Will only produce warm water at 2.4 liters of water flow or less. It worked in a pinch when my boiler died. I plugged into my bathroom sink outlets which are probably rated for hair dryers but my power cord did get warm but not hot. Probably not good for long term use.
