Update: After giving the company a chance to help the unit started working. Here's how it went. Contacted customer service. They sent the generic responses and I was feeling like it wasn't going anywhere. I explained in detail what I had done and how it wouldn't even turn on. Yes, the batteries were in correctly, yes the switch was on, yes it had gas and water. After going back and forth with the feeling they were not understanding, one little piece of info caught my eye. If there is not enough water pressure the unit won't turn on. I didn't think it was the problem because I was running it from the spiket at the camp ground as well as at my house. Full water pressure from the hose. What I didn't know was it was the filter I had on the hose between the spiket and the trailer that was restricting the pressure. Removed the filter and it works! Very hot very fast! Was thrilled. Then we checked to make sure the pump from the tank was sufficient and it was! I guess the thing that could make this product really awesome is way better instructions and troubleshooting section. Had it been listed in the papers that came with the unit under, *very important *, we would have made sure at the time of install. Overall I'm happy with the unit and the customer service. Just needs better documentation! I installed this in my camper. Mounted it on the wall, vented it properly and ran the water and gas lines as required. installed the batteries and hooked up my water directly to the hose outside my house. It never came on! it never heated or clicked like it said it should. I replaced the batteries with brand new ones straight from the store. Still no go. Checked to make sure they were in correctly. No go. Switched them around (in case of wonky wiring) No go. Switched the water lines, No go. Switched them back. Checked for gas, yep there was propane gas. No go. Went to Amazon and tried to find customer support. There isn't one. I left a chat to request support from the company and it said it might take a few days for them to get back to me. As of right now, I am very unhappy with this product. If I don't hear back by the 18th, I will return this and get something else.

First of all the unit works very well. This unit was mounted on the outside of the cabin opposite of the bathroom. Maybe 10 feet of 1/2inch pex pipe from heater to shower It is too close and the pipe definitely needs to be 3/4 to have the proper flow to be able to use this unit it heats the water Incredibly hot the lowest. I could get it was about a 160° this unit would be better suited for a small home not a cabin. We ended up ordering an ecotemp l5 that is 1.5 gpm and it works good for me. Other than that it worked as it should..

I am super impressed with this water heater. Pre-purchase these adapters. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0BYC7NQJ1?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title Then put the batteries in correctly, LOL, it started right up I had great flow, hot water that I learned to adjust after a few moments. There are three dials that you can determine which one to adjust the water flow and the water temperature. Fairly easy to understand. One dial has two flames and a single flame which can help with the water temperature. The shower head I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of it and how easy it was to use. I will be using this for a new bathroom construction at camp and eventually plumbing this in semi-permanently, and wanted to be sure it would work before my 30 days is over. I will be leaving it up to enjoy in the meantime for all kinds of cleaning and camp activities.

I will add to this post later, but for now, I have it hooked up and it will not heat the water. I am using a SEAFLO Water Diaphragm Self Priming Pump 3.0 Gallons/min (11.3 Lpm) 45 PSI New Rv/Marine 12 Volt Dc / 12 V Demand Fresh and a 1lb bottle for gas right now and it does not ever want to click and fire.

Works well actually sometimes a little too hot even on low settings but that could be are lower water pressure we have at times have mine as the new rv camper so can mix with cold water.

The media could not be loaded. At first the display wasn't lighting up and I thought it didn't work and would have to send it back after installing...but then came out the next morning and gave it another shot...and it started right up. If you don't have water flowing to it or pumping to it the display will not go on. Make sure your pump is on first! Very happy with this purchase! Can't beat the price!!!
