I was very disappointed to buy a Sauder product that's not made in USA. The piece itself is pretty. No issue with a different look from the selling page. The side piece handles are just there for show. Don't think you can use them to lift the dresser. Most of the slider hardware works just fine. One of the small drawers' wheel slides must be sized improperly because the drawer will slide in and out just fine UNLESS you slide it all the way in, which will jag the alignment and force you to take the whole drawer out. Of course you only find this out after you've assembled the dresser, so that's a star off the "sturdiness" factor. Next, this is a suggestion for all put-it-together furniture, and it would cost the manufacturer nothing: * Label the pieces as A, B, C, D...and place them that way in the box, so you know where the next piece(s) are. Double points if you just label the box "Open this side up" Why put pieces W, D, O, B, E so you have no idea where the piece is that you're looking for? Lastly, this is an issue with just about every put-it-together furniture item I've ever built. I'm handy and had no problem understanding the directions -- but my hands HURT because the screws and/or pieces are poor quality and can't handle it if you try using an electric driver. Why should assembly take 5 hours because you're forced to screw everything in by hand? I didn't attach the little decorative brackets at the end. I think it looks fine without them. Next time I buy furniture, I'm looking for something I can use an electric driver. ... show more

I didn’t have any issues putting it together although it did take around 2 hours to do. Once together I loved the look of it and it’s definitely heavy/sturdy however the drawers weren’t all easily pulled out even though they were all on tracks correctly and there was no interference. After a couple months though, they’ve started to work more smoothly. No other complaints besides that! ... show more

Let’s face it build it yourself furniture is never great. But the pictures they advertise with make you think it’s going to be different. They’re not. The over all fit and finish of everything is garbage. Even if you spend the time to even up all the gaps around the drawers you still have these massive gaps that just scream poor craftsmanship. A lot of work for the quality of this dresser, particle board. Also, the handles on the sides do NOT work. They are only for show.

The item came damaged. Customer service replaced the piece with no problem. But this dresser is unimpressive in quality. Very cheap wood product. Also, if it is important, the color seems to have reddish tones in the picture but not in real life. It will probably be an ok dresser for a few years, but I’d only recommend buying if you keep its flaws in mind. ... show more

Very nicely made..my husband had it assembled in less than an hour. Drawers open and close easily and are deeper than I thought! I definitely would buy again
