Tldr: Check the fireplace before assembly to make sure it works properly. Great customer service. After all is said and done, we love it. I bought this to replace a flimsy bookshelf that my husband was using to hold everything and the tv in his office. Every time he spun in his chair, he almost knocked the tv to floor. This is, by far, the most extensive assembly process we have ever encountered assembling our furniture and almost every piece of furniture we own came in a box needing to be assembled. We can normally knock out a large piece in about an hour working together. This took the two of us over 2.5 hours. There are a bunch of screws that are used to make the whole unit extremely secure. I have no fear of this piece falling apart anytime soon. After spending all of that time putting the unit together, we put everything in it, slid it back to plug it in, and turned on the fireplace to test it out...there was definitely a problem with the fan, as it made a high pitched buzzing and rhythmic thunking sound. Thus our communication with customer service ensued. We are not in the same time zone as the company, so it was a lot of back and forth via email. After a few emails and the submission of a video of the issue, they sent us a diagram explaining how to take the fireplace apart and most likely fix the problem. After getting a written guarantee that they would still honor the warranty of we did it, we took the fireplace apart. One whole section inside had come off during shipment. The repair was quick and simple. We put it back together, the buzzing is no louder than that of our other fireplace and the rhythmic thumping is gone. The company refunded a portion of the purchase price for our trouble, something you can tell is common practice as they didn't even hesitate to offer it. Now we absolutely love it. All in all, if you are used to putting together your furniture and your looking for a spacious, sturdy unit that can hold a large flat screen tv and has a fireplace in it, I would highly recommend this one. Just be prepared to have to contact customer service about fixing the obviously known fan issue. ... show more

The TV stand is great and looks beautiful in my home. The product was easy to assemble and followed with no troubles. As for the heat distribution it does work and it comes with 3 lighting settings for the fireplace. I have noticed that the heat does not stay on for long even when we set the timer attached to the fireplace, to have it on for 30 mins. I find that to be strange. It also does not come with the triple A batteries which is necessary for the fireplace remote to function. So have that on hand before purchasing. ... show more

Easy-ish to assemble with time- but some of the particle board pieces are low quality and several of the guide holes were on the wrong side or nonexistent. Size is fine for my space. Looks nice. I will say I don’t think the heat would work if I were using it for that purpose (which luckily I’m not). It’s hot when you’re right up in front of it, but a few feet away and I can’t even tell the heat is in. Would recommend for the price, just not if you actually need it as a heater. ... show more

The TV stand is beautiful and once put together we truly enjoy it. Our main issues are the instructions were horrible and our remote doesn't work. The remote is also very cheaply made.

The instructions were easy to follow, and I’m pleased with the completed fit and finish of the cabinet. I was, however, unable to mount the fireplace inside the cabinet because the trim is not wide enough to match the mounting holes of the insert. I understand things happen and people are different as far as there sensitivity in hearing and smelling and touch. But my wife can hear a buzzing noise coming from just having the fire light on. It bothered her we tried to"fix" it but it's still there but this company is amazing and refunded some money back you can tell they are all about customer satisfaction they even tried to help us trouble shoot thank you other then that this product is great ... show more
