Love this fireplace! Looks realistic! Great colors! Very quiet when running the heater! Heats up small living room easily. If you turn the heater and fan on but do not set the timer for between 1-8 hours run time, then it will automatically shut off in 30 minutes which is a great feature. Easy to set up! ... show more

    • Great Fireplace Great Value
Size: 50 Inches

better than I expected. My husband and I have done many linear fireplaces over the years and always used the Dimplex Prism BLF 5051. This time I took a chance and ordered a Tangkula 50 Inch Electric Fireplace and we are very happy with its over all look and performance. It was easy to install , works well and very low noise coming from the fan . It does heat a 400 plus square room. In my opinion it's very comparable to the Dimplex Prism BLF5051. If we need to do another fireplace we will definitely buy a Tangkula fireplace again. ... show more

    • Awesome fireplace.

This thing is really cool. I installed it in my bedroom shiplap “fireplace.” I chose this unit, because it has a thin frame. Unlike the units with wide frames, there is more “fire.” I bought the 42 inch unit. My shiplap fireplace is 56.5 inches wide. The remote works well, the flames look awesome and the heater and blower work great. The off timer is a nice touch. I like the orange flames with the crystals. The crystals are made of clear plastic. They look heavier than they actually are. The logs are kind of heavy and look cheesy. It seems like they can only be arranged as pictured in the ad. It should be noted, that in the Amazon ad (if I remember correctly) it indicates that the fireplace requires 2.5 to 3 inches of open space above the intake vent. That’s not noted in the instructions I received though. When I built the skeleton of my fireplace, I left approximately 4 inches of space above the vent, just to be safe (see pic). I definitely recommend this fireplace. ... show more

    • Love the Two I bought!p
Size: 50 Inches
I wanted something that looked real and I found it. This is the second one I have bought. I have the 36 inch in a sitting room and this 50 inch in the living room. They both were very easy install. I did leave the fake wood out of them. I just like the cleaner look I guess. They heat just enough to get the chill out of the air in the morning. Highly recommend! ... show more

Love! Wanted real looking wood and realistic flames. This delivers. It does not put off a great amount of heat tho which is a bummer.

    • Fantastic Product
Size: 42 Inches
We ordered this because of reviews, even though there were not many. We had been looking at Fireplace Stores, but they were so expensive. We ordered this and have NO REGERTS. The company shipped it quickly, packed well.everthing intact. The size and construction are better than we could hope for ; for the price. We love the flame as well. 9 different colors, but we are more traditional, so mainly we'll use the one shown. So very glad we took a chance, this is 100% what we wanted. We may not use the heat feature often, but love the ambiance and the option of heat for those chilly mornings. ... show more

The fireplace creates the ambience that we were looking for. It looks great. The low height fits perfectly under the window where we wanted to place it. It was easy to work with to build a wooden mantel. We don’t use the heat much, but it warms nicely and it’s pretty quiet too.
