This electric fireplace was exactly as described. Installed it in an existing enclosure, with a small amount of work it installed quite easy. The heat is good, takes the chill off the room, flames look amazing. If you are installing it in and existing fireplace, a 36 inch opening fits well. Only thing I had to do was to raise the unit with a wood piece and install boards to keep it secure on the sides. Pleased with the purchase. Included before and after pictures showing the install pieces. UPDATE: 9 months later I cannot turn it on. The seller does not respond to multiple attempts to contact them. Remote does not turn it on, tried batteries in the remote. This item is junk and no response from the seller

I purchased my fireplace for my bedroom in December 2019. Initially, I was quite impressed with the unit. It was both functional and visually pleasing. Sadly, It only worked for one season. As there is no use for a fireplace in the warmer months, I attempted to crank it on this fall and realized it didn’t work. I reached out to the seller for assistance and inquired about a factory warranty. I received an email response stating they were on vacation but will get back to me the following Monday. That never happened. I sent a follow-up email shortly after, again no response from the seller. I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I would not recommend this unit due to poor customer service and the defective item they sent.

So so happy with this purchase! Its sleek and clean, and gives off beautiful flames! We didnt have a fireplace nor do we have the ability to put in a wood burning stove, so we built a fireplace and added in this electric fireplace to still get the feel and coziness of a real one! Would definitely recommend!

I purchased this to replace one that stopped working. The old one heated my 1-bdrm house nicely, this does not - even on high. It's pretty, makes more noise, but not as functional. I do need to say that this was roughly half the price of my old one and smaller in size by 6". It will work, but not a 5 in my opinion.

We live in an older apartment and I kept the fireplace covered with a big slab of granite for over a year. I started shopping for fireplace doors, but decided that was too much work and money for an apartment. So glad I found this! Feels like a whole new place now and it looks so much better. I used some dollar tree mini wood crates to elevate it for a good fit. And peel and stick floor tiles to cover up the ceramic tile and dirty grout. Fire place opening measured 36x24. I was worried this would be too small, but the next size I could find was 36x26? Strange. But this worked out better than expected. I did remove the entire track that held the old metal screen. Oh, and the back/body is NOT chamfered (slanted). So keep that in mind as some other models do accommodate the slanted firebox. Because it’s not slanted, I do have about an inch of overhang. But I still love it. Puts off a good amount of heat (even near a window with poor insulation). Very happy with purchase so far. I hope it lasts!
