This item is NOT as described. The description states "100% Cotton. It is made with medium weight, 100% high quality printcloth cotton canvas for comfort and durability." This is not cotton at all!! This is cheap polyester flannel that is printed to look like cotton. At a distance, it looks fine (see photo 1), but up close (photos 2 & 3 -- are not out of focus, either), BLECK. Feels cheap, too. These are not only attractive, they are high quality coviers that fit like a glove. The material reminds me of expensive canvas patio furniture. My Chihuahuas love to lay on pillows and dig a spot to perch and these are holding up to the challenge; no balling and no snagging. Impressive!

I bought the Chrysanthemum pattern and am very pleased with them I didn't want to spend a lot because we are hard on our pillows. They have been wearing well, fit the 12 x 12 pillows easily, and I like the colors, which look just like the photo. The fabric isn't soft but I wasn't looking for softness. I was perusing Amazon for throw pillow covers because I did not like the pattern on the throw pillows that came with my new sofa. I did a little happy dance (sitting) when I came across these because they matched the covers on my dining room chairs. I wasn't expecting too much because one of the reviews said they received a polyester flannel material instead of the thick cotton cover described. When I took the covers out of the package I was pleasantly surprised. They are as described and very well made...granted it doesn't look too difficult to sew two squares together but I sure can't do it. The lines are straight and the zipper is hidden when zipped up. It seems that others had problems with the other pillowcase patterns but this one was a perfect 10 for me. ... show more

These shams are well made. I was able to cover my 20" x 20" boring couch accessory pillows and finally get vibrant color where there was none before. The fabric feels like upholstery grade, which is important for this use. I had no problems getting the old plain pillows inside, and the zipper made everything neat and tidy.
