I needed a lumbar pillow for my computer chair in the bedroom and bought a cute, furry pillow cover. This pillow insert was listed to fit the size cover I bought, and it did fit absolutely perfectly. The picture shows the pale turquoise fur pillow cover over this pillow insert, sitting in my desk chair. Some reviewers mentioned the pillow being hard to fluff up after removing it from the vacuum packed package. I just followed the fluffing directions, and it fluffed up great. What's sort of funny is that one of the reasons I picked this pillow insert was because of those reviews saying it didn't fluff up great. Since I was putting this in a chair as a lumbar pillow, I didn't want it to be too fluffy and take up too much of the chair. It actually IS a little too fluffy (as it actually should be), but I'm hoping it will flatten out over time with daily use. The packaging on this was surprising: in a box, inside two layers of vacuum-sealed plastic! There was no odor of chemicals, which is nice. It fit right into the pillow covering I had purchased. Really nice, quality product!

I decided to finally do up my bed like I've always wanted it, complete with lots of pillows. I may have gone overboard on the pillows, and right in front, I found a pretty little pillow cover that I thought tied my bed to my existing rug. Perfect! Since I'd already spent a small fortune on bedding and pillows, I took Amazon's suggestion for an insert. The price was right, even if it was just going to be polyester fluff. Well, it's certainly true that you get what you pay for. I honestly wish I'd spent a little more and got a nicer insert. In fact, I may just return this. It's small. It doesn't fill out the pillow. I almost bought a second one, but then that defeats the purpose of buying the cheaper pillow. It's just nothing to write home about. Honestly, I think I got similar pillows for the lumbar pillows for my office waiting room chairs, and there, I didn't mind it. But somehow, on my bed, it's just not cutting it. ... show more
