How to Choose Pillow Insert Size It's typically recommended to use a pillow insert larger than the pillowcase for a nice plumpy pillow, especially for the older flattened pillows or fiber fill. Sometimes, for 100% Hypoallergenic Polyester Inserts, after filling, pillow will decrease about 10% - 15% in size. The toss pillow covers feature 18"x18". So, for best results, now 1-2 size up larger inserts are recommended to buy together with the items to provide full pillow from corner to corner.     • Excelent for Switching Up Your Throw Pillows!
I like to change up my pillows for the holidays and seasons and I don't have room to store throw pillows that I'm not using. So, I have one set of throw pillows for my sofa and I simply change up the covers instead of having different pillows. I simply love these covers! They're a nice velvet, but not a deep, thick, heavy velvet. Just sort of a thinner, but very soft velvet. The zipper is a good quality and pretty well hidden when zipped, so they took the care to sew it inside where it's not visible when zipped shut. I now have them in several colors. These come in so many colors! Also worth mentioning, the color that arrives is the colors you see on your computer screen. Love these pillow covers! Gorgeous color and velvety soft. These were 16x16 and I put 18 in pillow inserts in them because I like them nice and plump. I think they look great on my sofa.

The media could not be loaded. These are lovely! Material is great. Size is just right. No issues with the zipper that happens with inexpensive covers sometimes. Only losing a star because the color is off compared to the photo online. It’s called rust but looks a little more orange and less brown. Also, there’s an odd line that won’t rub out probably from being folded. I’m keeping them because I can deal with the color. It almost looks like terracotta vs “rust” ... show more
