This is definitely not a dot approved helmet. It is so flimsy I could bend it in half with my hands with almost no pressure. Sizing is very large. Took a long time to ship and definitely not worth the wait or money.

A novelty helmet that would surely NOT pass any safety inspection, and offer MINIMAL impact protection... but was anticipated before purchase. DOES have a "DOT" logo on the rear of helmet (not a sticker) to appease law enforcement (at a glance), and is relatively comfortable once the foam pad underneath the liner was removed... but I have an egg-shaped cranium.     • Not much protection, but I knew this before pursuing.

Supper light weight, and fits great. I have a large head (size 8) and most helmets look ridiculous on me, this one doesn't make my head look like a black beach ball, hahaha. It's comfortable for all day riding. Throw the chin piece away It's useless, but again it's what I expected.
