    • I’m impressed!
I am impressed by this renewed lens! I’ve switched careers, but I was a portrait photographer for 13 years. I always had prime lenses and never really trusted that a zoom lens could be as sharp as a prime. Now that I need a zoom lens to get shots of my daughter marching in the band at football games, I decided to spend the money on a good zoom lens. Going from my main lens being a sharp 50mm 1.4, I was skeptical that a zoom could provide both great bokeh and sharpness. This lens does! I was researching whether to buy a tamron, sigma, or a Nikon 70-200 and after reading about the focus squeak of the Nikon, it was down to the two “off brand” lenses. I’m glad I chose this tamron and can’t wait to use it for this weekend’s marching band competition. In the 13 years of being a photographer, I’ve bought my fair share of used lenses and camera bodies. You take a gamble when you buy used, but I was really impressed with the condition of this lens and also the way it was packaged. It even came in a really nice padded zip case. I ordered another lens when I ordered this one, they came at the same time and let’s just say I saw one lens in the best used condition I’ve seen and also a lens in the worst used condition I’ve seen. This tamron was better than described and the other lens that I ordered in “good used” condition was not even usable. It was a joke! I’m just glad 1 out of 2 was a great purchase! ... show more

    • Beautiful lens, makes de Nikon D750 shine
The lens is absolutely beautiful, as a thrifty amateur, I had neglected getting high-level expensive lenses , buying and keeping well-priced average gear, and I had been missing a lot. I own a Nikon D750. The lens is well built, focuses fast and correctly and the sharpness and colors at every aperture are leaps above my other Nikon lenses, except for my Nikon 85mm f/1.14D, which can hold its own despite is age. The lens arrived on time, well packaged with the original box. No manuals were promised so no manuals arrived, I'm dropping 1/2 a star because the lens cover did not arrive despite being part of the lens as advertised. It weighs a ton, but the VR is so good that you can use it hand-held in most situations. I highly recommend it. ... show more

    • A Great Lens
The Tamron 70-200mm I received was listed as refurbished but looks like new. There are absolutely no wear spots or any other blemishes. I'm 76 and far from an accomplished photographer so I cannot talk to highly technical issues. It operates smoothly through all focal points and speeds. I understand that Tamron no longer makes this lens so I am happy to have a "like new" version. It is a great lens. ... show more

    • Best buy
Best buy so far; fast and crisp autofocus, I use this with my af-s mount camera and the Z ( using the FTZ adaptor) and I get the same speed in both systems : I love this lens

    • It works as expected but with some cosmetic issues

Product is a Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 for Nikon F mount claimed to be in excellent condition. Upon receiving i noticed the lense had some sign of wear and the tripod collar had some dings, scratches and the paint/coating had flaked in some parts. The optical elements of the lens had some dust on it but came right off after I wiped with an optical lens cloth, optical quality seems to be in excellent condition, stabilisation mode 1 is fully functional and works perfectly however I have not tested modes 2 & 3. The threads on the lens hood is partially broken but it still works but it will not last in this condition. Overall the lens is a good deal at the pric, the optics are great but the cosmetic condition (which does not influence images in any way) could definitely be better. Solution to cosmetic issues: I may need buy a skin / wrap from lifeguard skins and a brand new tripod collar and lens hood. ... show more

    • Beast!
This thing is as heavy as a sack of potatoes, but I can easily look past that because of the performance! This lens, in my opinion, outperforms the Nikon version, at a fraction of the cost! The autofocus is quick and relatively quiet, and the bokeh is absolutely gorgeous! If you're debating on getting this over the Nikon version, DO IT! You absolutely will not be disappointed, and you'll save yourself a nice chunk of money! ... show more

    • BEST lens!
I ordered this lens after much research and am VERY happy I decided to buy. I have always loved photography and taking pictures and I wanted to try some indoor sports shots and this is the most recommended lens for those indoor, and outdoor, shots. I highly recommend if you're wanting to take good sports photos. ... show more
