I'll be honest an "all in one" lens usually leaves a lot to be desired, but I am thoroughly impressed by this lens. Part of me wishes it was a fixed 2.8 vs a variable aperture, but sometimes being able to shoot at f2 wide open is nice. Lens is sharp and zooms smoothly. It's almost as big as a 70-200 so it's by no means a light lift, but talk about the variety that it offers. GET THE LENS. This lens is phenomenal. I am a commercial photographer who also works in the music industry. I love the versatility of this lens. Used it for video with my FX3 and on my a7iii for photos. Love it! Yes, it is a bit heavier than my 24-105mm F/4 Sony G Master lens, but worth it. So crisp and clear shots.
