Edit: updated to 4 stars for his customer service. Splitter sent me a replacement after it initially stopped working. Installation a little tricky with the way the bracket attaches to the ceiling, but ultimately not a big deal. Was working beautifully and then 4 1/2 months after installing it I go to turn it on and it flickers badly like a strobe light. After turning it off and on a few times it doesn't come on at all anymore. I checked the electrical connections and it has a good connection with power going all the way through to the unit itself. These are so easy to install. I have swapped out five old, crappy lighting fixtures throughout my home with these and have been quite pleased. The only thing though is that even with the three color temperature settings, it is still insanely bright. Bright is usually great for lighting, but I wish there was a dimmer knob on them. I ordered this for my entrance way. It was very easy to install and very bright! I ordered a second one for my hallway and got same day delivery. The LED’s are very bright so I had to turn it to the lowest setting, but I love these!

Installation was extremely easy, which was great since it was our first time replacing a light! The 12" light itself looks small in our office, but the light it casts is extremely bright. In some ways, this isn't ideal and it hurts our eyes to have it on casting such harsh shadows everywhere. We're hoping to install a dimmer switch with it, and I'd highly recommend a dimmer switch to anyone who installs this - especially in a bedroom. Bought this as a replacement to a an old laundry fixture. Value gets 4 stars because it is cheap, but not what is advertised. There is no light temperature selection as depicted, and not really dimmable (a little but then cuts off). That said, it does what I need it to do. It is bright and gives light for cheap. Now to see how long the bulb lasts. If it dies inside of two years, then no so cheap anymore. ... show more

Want a new, non-recessed LED light with color options - this is a great option. It took me 10 minutes to take down my old light and have this new one setup. I have downlights throughout most of my house, but I placed one of these in my laundry room and one in a bigger closet... both do the job.
