We have a 100+ yr. old house. I recently took down the old lath & plaster kitchen ceiling (still need to pull all the old nails!). We decided to go with the original antique beam look, and wanted anything attached to it to be satin black to look period correct. I disassembled the light fixture and spray painted the outer rim. Turned out just as I wanted. This light is fantastic, just what I was looking for. Has a switch inside the rim to select one of three brightness settings. These are bright. Easy to install. Best suited for laundry rooms, small garage, bathrooms. They do not have a ground wire. However, they are all plastic. Time will tell, so far they do what they are intended to do, quite well.

This light replaced a fancy LED fixture that buzzed itself to death. This light installs about the same as a smoke detector, which is to say dead simple. It's nice and bright and best of all it dims without protest. Completely silent! I love it and would buy another in heartbeat!

The media could not be loaded. Easy install 3 setting for brightness, I prefer the brightest setting but they all look great, super easy install, I installed 6, I would say a one beer job, maybe half a beer… either way they are super nice
