    • Very bright and easy to adjust the color temperature
I have several of these LED light fixtures installed in my house. They are big, so they cover up any unsightliness caused by the previous fixtures. They are a little fussy to install, which is annoying when standing on a stepladder, but be patient and you can get the job done. Color temperature is changed by quickly tuning the light on and off, and the light cycles between 3000K/4000K/6500K. This can be a bit of a bother if you turn on the light for just a moment - the next time you turn it on it will be set to a different temperature. But it's easy to fix. These fixtures are bright, but that's welcome in a closet. If it's too bright, they are dimmable with an appropriate dimmer switch. I've had 2 of these installed for over a year with no problems, and have installed another recently, so durability seems good so far. Overall I'm happy with these lights, and would get another if the need arose. ... show more

    • Excellent value but tricky to synchronize more than one on a circuit
Simple, elegant, excellent range of color and brightness. Setting the color isn't clear from instructions on box. If you turn ON-OFF-ON within 7 seconds, the color changes. I had three lights in parallel on one circuit and they were out of sync for color because the electrician tested one before completing the installation of all three. The fix was to disconnect that one while the power was on and reconnect it until it was in sync, which presents a shock hazard if you don't know what you're doing. ... show more

Everything I expected.i use it in the bedroom, and it provides plenty of light. I calculated the lumens I would need when choosing the size. I keep it on the warm color setting most of the time. I had to shorten the bolts a bit to fit the shallow ceiling electrical box, but it wasn’t difficult with bolt cutters. There isn’t a remote, but I separately got a smart dimmer switch, and they work well together. I don’t need to change the color often, but it is easy to do anyway, without having to monkey with the hardware. I appreciate that more built-in smart features would make it more expensive, and is unnecessary when I installed the smart switch I liked. ... show more

    • beautiful light for bedroom - can use dimmer switch
installation difficulty depends on the specific location - our ceilings are crap - and the cable that holds the light while you finish the wiring snapped off (very weak spot weld to plastic!) the first time the fixture slipped from my hands, but once installed , we love it. I installed a dimmer that is compatible with LEDs, and we can dim down to about 50% which is fine. we like the warm temperature best for the bedroom, the memory feature works as expected (light stays on selected temp as long as you don't do rapid off-on ). happy wife, happy life. ... show more
