The actual cabinet is easy to assembe if the shipper doesn't dent or damaged the parts as happened in my case. That's why I gave a 4 star rating. I was able to straighten out bent joints and pound out a dent on one side, but a customer should not have to do this. Of course, I found the damage after unpacking the shipping container. I was not about to attemp to repack it to send it back! The bottom shelf (floor) is not sturdy enough ( I think my 4 Star rating is too generous) and will cave in with more than about 50 lbs. The floor should be wherel the most weight is stored, The ajustable shelves have a nice brace across them, but the floor is un braced. Over all I would suggest buying a pre-assemble cabinet, have it delivered by a competent shipper, and positioned where you want it. Way less headache.

It’s probably not the sturdiest cabinet, but I didn’t want to spend a lot of money. Assembly was pretty easy except for the two screws that hold the top down. We had trouble finding the holes because they are in the front inside part of the cabinet and are hard to see. You will need an assistant to help with assembly. Overall it’s a fair price and so far I’m happy with it.

I bought five of these units for my art studio. All five fit perfectly along my storage area wall with two inches to spare. I received three cabinets on the first delivery. When I inquired, I was told that FEDEX had lost the other two in shipment. This is where it gets weird. Then I was offered a .$15.00 discount on repurchasing the two missing cabinets. "No", I said.... I want the missing two cabinets, which I was already billed for, and this time send them via UPS because FEDEX cannot find the two giant boxes entrusted to them. "Kristin" then responded with "we want you to be happy, we will send the two cabinets by UPS". I LOVE Kristin!!! I received my two cabinets two days ago. AWESOME! Now....about the cabinets. The packing/packaging/boxing is insufficient to protect the sheet metal parts. Especially vulnerable are the box edges on the long side. These cabinets are sheet metal, thin-gauged, and untempered. I can bend the individual pieces with my fingers. Many of the pieces were damaged in shipment and have to be straightened carefully. Two of the cabinets had damage to the cabinet face...and this shows after assembly. However, that being said, the sum total of the parts, and the manner in which they have been engineered, means that they are quite strong after assembly and mounting to the wall. It took four hours to assemble the first unit. By the time I assembled the last two units it took only 30 minutes each. All in all, these cabinets are great for the money. If you're mounting them against a stud wall, I would advise using a 1 x 4-inch board behind the cabinet to secured it and not the drywall hardware they provide. These cabinets are far superior to the comparable inexpensive garage storage cabinets made from chipboard. They are taller and deeper, and stronger after assembly. Thanks to "Kristin", I have all five cabinets assembled, and they are already in use.

I purchased and received two metal cabinets for storage purchases. The cabinets fit perfectly in the space I had for them in my home. I also purchased to have these cabinets assembled, which was the best decision for me to do. I was very pleased at how nice these cabinets looked. There was a small issue, but I was very pleased with how quickly the seller was able to correct the problem. All in all, I was completely satisfied with my purchase.

I was very excited to get this as I've been needing one for the office for a while and have been putting it off; wanting to get one but not wanting to spend the money on a preassembled one I ordered one of these, knowing I would have to put it together. For the most part, it wasn't bad to put together, but the top was kind of confusing compared to the rest of the cabinet. The second package of the order arrived first and the next day I got the other piece even though they were supposed to be dropped off together. My guess is FedEx misplaced one and found it the next day. Anyways, when I unpackaged it, I noticed the sides of the outer portion of the cabinet had bent/banged up edges and this is noticeable from the outside of the cabinet. I had to tap them in to place with a hammer which removed some of the paint but it was the only way the other pieces would connect to it. It is still functional but doesn't look at nice as it would if it came un-damaged. If you go this route I would just assume you're going to receive a damaged product because even though the packaging seemed sufficient, my product was damaged.

I read the reviews AFTER I made my purchase, so was a bit worried since some said it arrived in two boxes at very different times and didn't have instructions. Mine arrived on time and with instructions that were good enough 2 inexperienced people could use to assemble.
