The sound quality is good in both modes. The plus sign, -, mode, sign, and power buttons are clearly marked and in large print. The user manual is clear and concise. Before I bought this product, there were four things I wanted to know. May be the same for you! Here are the questions and my findings: 1) Will this microphone produce a loud enough of a sound? Yes. Easily a room of 50 or more people (which I need it for) will be able to hear your amplified voice. That is even before increasing the sound volume on the microphone, which you can do with a push of a button. 2) What is the sound quality that the microphone produces? Certainly, you do not want to have a voice that sounds like it came out of a tinny speaker at some fast food drive up windows! Not a problem with this microphone. Your voice sounds completely natural. Just louder. 3) What kind of construction does the microphone has? Does it appear "cheap"? This is one of the challenges of buying something on the internet. The pictures may make the product look great, but the reality can be far from it. Again, not an issue with this microphone. The sturdiness and quality of this product (and its packaging) is even better than I expected. Feels great in your hand! 4) How long will a charge last? I have delivered a nearly seven-hour workshop and the microphone still had remaining charge.

I used this for a wedding rehearsal speech (for a crowd of ~70 people). The room was just large enough that I felt we need some type of mic but didn't want to bring speakers, etc... The mic isn't that powerful, the sound quality isn't great so don't expect something great for singing, but it does get the job done in a small space. The battery holds up pretty well, although you need a specific charging cable (for some odd reason it won't charge using a USB-C to C cable (need usb-c to usb-a).

I used this microphone in a meeting that I facilitated for 60 people and the meeting was in a modular trailer. All of the attendees heard me clearly and I would recommend this microphone. I like the fact that is wireless and has Bluetooth. I have not used the blue tooth feature but I imagine you can use it to connect it to a speaker.
