  • Excellent resin Excellent resin
Size: 1 Gallon Not Yellowing Epoxy Kit
They turned out beautiful. The resin was easy to pour. Instructions was easy to follow. The only thing is I had to sit the molds outside to dry. And it dried fairly quickly outside on a very sunny day. Would recommend.

  • Love the Epoxy Love the Epoxy
Size: 1 Gallon Not Yellowing Epoxy Kit
Exceptional Resin for DIY Projects! The TAKIMO 1 Gallon Crystal Clear Resin Kit is an absolute delight for crafting enthusiasts. The resin mixes smoothly with the hardener in a simple 1:1 ratio, making it incredibly easy to use—even for beginners. The curing process is quick, with results ready in 8-24 hours, and the finish is stunningly clear and glossy. I was particularly impressed by the bubble-free formula, which ensures a flawless finish every time. The resin is also resistant to yellowing, maintaining its pristine appearance over time. Whether you're creating jewelry, coasters, or river tables, this resin delivers professional-grade results. The versatility of this kit is unmatched—it works beautifully with pigments, mica powder, and embedded objects, allowing for endless creative possibilities. If you're looking for a reliable and high-quality resin for your projects, this kit is a must-have. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • looks great, and easy to work with
Size: 1 Gallon Not Yellowing Epoxy Kit
I used the resin for coating a wooden bench to give it a plain white glossy plastic look. Overall, I am really pleased with the result and the resin is easy to work with. I had to make two layers, because I made several mistakes at the first attempt: 1. The temperature of the resin is critical. I put the the two jugs in hot water (about 120F) before mixing them. While this is not a bad idea (it should reduce the cloudiness of the resin) I should have waited for it to cool down to room temperature again before mixing it. The reaction was really fast and it became very viscous already after a short time (maybe about 20 minutes). For the second layer (at room temperature) I had much more time. 2. If you mix a larger volume at once, I recommend spilling the resin as fast as possible where you want to have it, and don't leave anything in the bucket. I first tried to spill only small portions of the resin on the board and carefully spread it, but the resin in the bucket got so hot that it reacted very quickly (and got even hotter). At some point it was too hard to be used. 3. For the first layer, I used mica powder to tint the resin. While this gives an interesting shimmer to the resin (and you can see in which direction you spread it), this was not really the effect that I wanted. For the second layer I used liquid white dye and that worked perfectly. Also, it is preferable to work with it in a "dust-reduced" (and insect-free) environment. I didn't really have that and there are some small imperfections ... but overall the result is really nice. ... show more

  • One of cheapest per Oz you can get-good product
Size: 1 Gallon Not Yellowing Epoxy Kit
Resin is so expensive. I find myself scrolling & clicking for hours on Amazon trying to find the best deal. This resin was the cheapest per ounce that I could find that particular day so I purchased it. It was around medium to high performance when compared to other brands Ive gotten. Rating it pretty highly, as its definitely better than the midline resins that I have used & up there with some of the top brands. This, & considering the cheap price makes me feel like this was a good purchase and I am happy with the product that I purchased. I do recommend it! ... show more

  • Great with one weird caveat
Size: 1 Gallon Not Yellowing Epoxy Kit
This has been one of my favs so far-affordable, very clear/shiny, low bubbles (as long as you follow good practice- warm it before or during stirring if bottles are cold to the touch, pour B in first then add A, stir very slowly for 5 min). It’s ridiculous for anyone to say “no bubbles” but the bubbles left are easy to remove with a lighter. Very low odor. Working and cure time are good, as always cure time is greatly dependent on the temp of the room you are curing in! I point a space heater at it while curing if the room is cold, this greatly speeds up curing. I often finish an item at night and it is hardened when I wake up. However if you cure in a cold room, it can take much longer - as is the case with any epoxy. Now the weird caveat- The instructions I noticed said that it’s not to be used for anything thicker than something like a 1/2 inch (I can’t find them to confirm exact amount- but I’m sure it was less than an inch) because it could get so hot that the project would melt. It was shocking to me that this was not mentioned on the product listing- it even says it could be used for large projects. I decided to give it a try anyway since I often will pour in layers 1/2-1 inch, my projects turn out fine BUT one time I mixed a large amount (600ml) as I was pouring a layer for several molds and a while into my working time I noticed tons of steam coming from the measuring cup, I touched the outside of the cup and it was shockingly scalding hot and I had to throw out half of the resin as it was lumpy/almost completely hardened, which sucks because 300ml is definitely expensive. So my lesson is to work in smaller batches and pours. Aside from that, no complaints. ... show more

  • Dont let the price fool you. This stuff works greatt
Size: 1 Gallon Not Yellowing Epoxy Kit
May cost less than other brands but it's the real deal. Very low odor. Minimal bubbles after it sets for a bit. Cures crystal clear. Easy to use. It is thick but you can think it by letting the container sit in warm water. Cures strong. Bonds really well. I use it so much I have it on subscibe and save. ... show more

  • Don’t buy Takimo for anything. Don’t buy Takimo for anything.
Size: 1 Gallon Not Yellowing Epoxy Kit
I use a lot of epoxy on table tops. I find most of them to be generic and so I buy the Amazon best deal at order time. However, I used 185 ounces of this Takimo on a 112” x 52” table top and this epoxy has not really set up after three weeks. The initial results were great but several days after the pour the surface shows 3/8” to 1” “water spots”. At least that’s what they look like or maybe could be called fish scales. Hundreds of them. I waited two weeks and sanded them out with 800 grit paper but noticed the entire surface is not really cured or hard. My fingertips kind of stick to the surface. Looks like I am going to have to sand of all 185 ounces Takimo. Hours and hours. I noted when troweling out the Takimo there was sometimes a little wave in front of the trowel with the viscosity of almost water. I believe the product was contaminated with something that was not epoxy or hardener. DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND ... show more
