These jeans are wonderful. Nice thick fabric, perfect color and the rise is just right! Fits true to size. But, they are very long! In my case, because I'm short, I had to cut off the cool bottom frayed hem. Beware, they do continue to fray each time you wash them.

As a short 4’11” gal I like to get cropped style pants because a lot of times the hem fits me like a regular and saves me the pain of having them hemmed. I received the HUDSON Jeans Women's Rosie High Rise, Wide Leg Jean, Black Ash, 28. This size fits me great and it feels amazing. Hudson jeans are known for the quality and the denim is soft with a tiny bit of stretch. As soon as I put them in they felt amazing. They’re still a tad bit long for my short legs. I washed them in cold but did not put them in the dryer until I checked on shrinkage. They didn’t shrink much at all so I think I will run them through the dryer and see if they shrink a bit. I love the quality and feel of these jeans. A nice, heavy fabric, yet soft and comfortable. However they are LONG. I know I'm not tall (5'4") but very disappointed that the cute bottom edge will need to be cut off. I'm having to cut 6 inches off of these jeans. And although the description says "zipper closure" they are actually button up...really cute and I loved this feature in 1971 when my fingers weren't arthritic! However it is a REAL struggle to button these since my fingers just don't work like they did in the 70's!! Fortunately I can slip them on and off with only the top two buttons undone and hopefully it gets easier to fasten them. Great jeans - especially if you are nice and tall! ... show more
