Every so often I'll buy something pricey and suffer buyer's remorse because I feel I shouldn't have spent so much on whatever the item happens to be. This is not one of those times. This watch is great. It looks amazing and keeps perfect time. Also, it's not your 'everybody's got one' Rolex Submariner, or worse, some other brand's sub/dive watch copy. The black ceramic looks even better in person. 5-31-13 Update: I'm still thrilled with this watch, but wanted to point out an inaccuracy in the other review here. The bezel on this watch doesn't rotate because it's not a dive watch. The bezel on a dive watch rotates in order to allow a diver to track how long they've been underwater so they don't run out of air. The bezel only rotates in one direction, so if it accidentally gets turned underwater, the "time left to surface" will only get shorter, not longer. The bezel on this Tag is a tachymeter. A tachymeter is used for measuring how fast something is moving, or how long it takes to complete a task. bought this for 40th birthday gift. the watch is beautiful. He loves it. Its not too large which gives it a much more timeless look as opposed to the trendy watch look with oversized face. This will never go out of style. Well worth the price.

    • Should've Bought the Automatic Version
If you are looking for a luxury sports watch, TAG Formula 1 is the way to go. Look no further. I've had this watch on me about half year by now and love every bit of it. TAG doesn't get such good reputations for no reasons. However, shortly after my purchase, TAG released an automatic version of this model (Calibre 16) and looks even better. The auto version is about 1000 dollars more but totally worth it. Make sure check it out before you make the purchase. if you are dropping two grand on a watch, why care for another one?     • Expect better for a 1
this watch accurately tells time. It's heavier and thicker than I'd prefer. I received it as a gift to commemorate an event so I am keeping it for that reason only. The half hour hand for the chrono doesn't return to zero so it's always a minute behind when it's used. Expect better for a 1.5K watch.

I love my new Tag. I did a lot of research before purchasing and finally decided to buy thru Amazon because I was able to purchase my watch for a lot less than a brick and mortor shop. The watch is beautiful and I've already had numerous compliments just in the few days that I have owned it.

Yeah, so, if a unicorn pooped rainbows and it morphed into a watch, this is the watch it becomes. Am in love with this beautiful timepiece. Of course Tag is a name that speaks for itself, but this beauty is completely classy, an eye-catcher and sporty all in the same package. The 42mm face size is just right size-not too small and not too big. The black ceramic center links add an extra bit of lust, along with, "hey look at my beautiful self," and the grey and black bezel are an excellent color to make it all pop together and steal hearts. If I could say one thing bad about this watch, and I have only owned it for a very short amount of time, is that the "tachymetre" does not spin. Other than that, gorgeous it is, and much better in person. Highly recommend for a classy / sporty watch, and you can have your Rolex all day long! ... show more

My husband LOVES this watch! He was absolutely floored when we asked him to open the amazon box while we were leaving on a mini vacation that he was unable to attend for work- needless to say it was the 'best surprise ever'. Craftsmanship is wonderful.
