    • TAG Upgrade
This is my second TAG watch. I've had the previous one for many years. I wanted chrono capability, stop watch, etc. This watch is a little bigger and heavier than my previous TAG which was not a chrono. Consequently, this watch is noticeably heavier when you slide it on your wrist. The bracelet clasp works with a slight press (nice feature). I had to remove 3 bracelet links to make it fit on my wrist. I did it myself with proper tools but it was a hassle because the pins holding the links together are harder to remove than a more conventional watch bracelet. TAG could have designed the bracelet link removal better. I watched YOUTUBE videos to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong. Most good watch bracelets have arrows on the inside of the links showing which direction to remove the pins but this bracelet doesn't. The watch movement is automatic (no battery needed) self-winding. My other TAG was battery operated (very accurate). Never having owned an automatic movement before, I didn't know that many owners use self-winding storage devices to keep their watch running when not in use. This watch will be unwound after about 40 hours of not being worn. So, I dropped $70 and ordered a self-winding device to keep the watch wound while it's not being worn. I hate setting watch times if the movement stops because I like to have the watch time as accurate as possible. This watch seems to keep pretty accurate time so far but I've only had it a short time. Overall, very attractive watch with nice features but a little heavier and larger than an "average" watch. Was it worth dropping two grand? If you will like to remove "links" from the watch band in order to better fit your, it is too hard to remove those "links" no matter if you are using tool that you bought (like in my case). Do to the fact I was not able to remove those "links" by myself I went to a jewerly with an expert to perfor this job and even he is and expert he told me that was also hard to remove those. Besides this thje watch it is beautiful fully functional and really I am very please with the acquisition of this watch. I am looking forward to by my second Tag in the near future. ... show more

    • It's a piece of crap! I'd stay away!
I purchased this watch from an AD and paid much more for it than it is listed here. A little more than 2 weeks of the purchase, the watch malfunctioned and I had to bring it back to the AD and they sent it in for repair. 2 WEEKS!!! Not 2 years. 2 WEEKS!!! What a piece of crap!!! I received it back after a month and it still does not function correctly! I wrote to TAG about my issues with this "time piece" and I thought that they would replace it for me. I sent it registered mail to corporate headquarters for TAG. I know they received my letter. Not only did they not replace it for me, THEY DID NOT EVEN REPLY TO MY LETTER!!! I'm still waiting to find out what the final outcome is going to be but so far for the money I've spent on this watch, I'm more than an irate customer and I would not even consider getting a Tag EVER AGAIN! I would save up a bit more to buy a better time piece. This is needless frustration for the amount spent! A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! ... show more

Great watch for everyday use. Good looks, nice size and dependable. Silver face looks classy with horizontal lines across it. This is my second Tag and I have been happy with both. Passed on a nice Breightling to buy this latest Tag and couldn't be happier!

Bought from Crown and Caliber for $950.00 shipped in Mint condition (no box and no papers). Beautiful watch and very well made. A little heavier than expected but solid watch. Super accurate as well. I have a number of higher end watches and this fits just nice.
