  • Absolute Tank of an LPVO – A Total Steal
Style: BDCF1 Cross BDC
I’ve been running the **Triton 1-6x Orion FFP LPVO** for about a year now, and I honestly can’t find a single thing to complain about. If you’re looking for a rugged optic that can handle actual abuse, this is it. ### The Pro: Built Like a Tank I use this for airsoft, which means my gear gets put through the wringer. This scope has seen it all: * **Durability:** I’ve dropped my rifle, thrown it, and it’s taken direct hits from BBs. It’s been rained on, covered in sweat, dirt, and mud during constant running. Through all that, it hasn't skipped a beat. * **Reliability:** It **holds zero perfectly**. Even with the vibration and impact of gameplay, it doesn't get loose on the mounting points. * **FFP Advantage:** Being a First Focal Plane (FFP) scope at this price point is amazing—the reticle remains accurate throughout the entire zoom range. ### The Value: A "Steal of a Deal" The price for this optic is extremely fair. Honestly, I’d argue it’s a **steal** considering the build quality and the fact that it performs just as well as scopes that cost way more. It’s rare to find an LPVO that is this "very, very strong" without breaking the bank. ### Final Verdict Whether you’re using it for airsoft or real-steel applications, the Triton Orion is an amazing piece of glass. It’s tough, clear, and reliable. I would **definitely buy this again** in a heartbeat. ... show more

  • Solid Performance at an Affordable Price
Style: BDCF1 Cross BDC
The Triton Orion 1-6x24 FFP LPVO Rifle Scope delivers impressive clarity and build quality, rivaling scopes in higher price brackets. The first focal plane reticle ensures accurate holdovers at any magnification, and the illumination is bright enough for most conditions. Eye relief is generous, and the scope holds zero well. Some users have noted slight edge distortion at 1x magnification and a stiff illumination knob, but these are minor considerations given the value. Overall, it's a reliable choice for budget-conscious shooters seeking quality performance. ... show more

  • So far so good....
Style: BDCF1 Cross BDC
So far I can only review the unboxing and the mounting of the optic as my build is not complete. Optic feels very solid. The Mount is light ,with very concentric scope rings, and seems like a more expensive upgrade. Optics extremely clear, on par with companies like Swamp Fox or Primary Arms. The reticle is crisp and level. Mine turned out to be level with the scope cap on the top turret. Found that out after the leveling process because I never trust them. Lighting controls excellent with off in between each setting. Plenty bright unless you are in a desert or snow situation. I'm not sure about the emitter yet, it might need an ARD. The etched black reticle is fine in those situations. The only thing I didn't like was the bikini scope caps. Some people dig those but not me. Eye relief is above average and glass is very very clear, as I mentioned above. The turrets seem ok, with a tiny bit of click feedback. No zero yet. No manual .none .zip. no info on holdover bdc, or cartridge or barrel length. So you are on your own there for the most part. This seems like a good scope at a great price from what I've seen. So far so good. ... show more

  • Rivals expensive LPVOs
Style: Apex Halo BDC
Amazing scope for the price! The glass is better than my Second Focal Plane Vortex Strike Eagle; my eyes can’t tell the difference between it and a Viper. The windage & elevation adjustments are positive & repeatable. And it comes with a mount! I gave it 4 stars because the illumination adjustment is almost too stiff to turn without tools. Hopefully it will get easier with time. The pic is a 3-shot group with cheap .300 BLK ammo. ... show more

  • Inexpensive but performs at a significantly higher price point!
Style: BDCF1 Cross BDC
Ordered this and expected it to be super low quality, poor optics and horrible eye to scope relief. Exceeded my expectations! Extremely well built, smooth zoom operation. Clarity is equivalent to scopes in the 500+ range. Looked at Sig MSR, Vortex and others in the sub 600 range and the majority were 2nd FP's. Eye relief - more than three inches which is better than Sigs. Illumination is great even in full sun. At max mag the red horseshoe is pretty decent - maybe slightly grain - but who cares - it cost less than 160 dollars. ONLY two negatives - there is a slight halo in certain lights at the far edges of the glass which isn't a big deal and second, the brightness knob is a little stiff. Have not mounted it yet so I can't tell if it will hold settings but it seems well built and the mount is pretty beefy. Honestly the only scopes that really impress me (Leupold, Riton, Trijicon) are priced in the 1300+ range which is crazy money. At this price it is a keeper! ... show more
