I don't often write reviews, but I am doing this one because this watch is outstanding. The pictures don't do it justice. This watch is beautiful; the dial detail, markers, fit/finish, etc. If I hadn't seen this watch in person at the local jewelry store, I would not have purchased it online. I won't get into the specs (since they are available directly from the TH website), except to say that at 41mm the size is really nice. Not small, but more importantly, not gaudily large. Weight wise, it's somewhat heavier than I expected, but I'm basing that only on how it compares to my previous watch, a similar sized Swiss Army. Again, helpful to check it out in person and there won't be any surprises if you order it. If you are not familiar with automatic watches, you will do yourself a favor by learning about them before buying one. Generally speaking, they are not as accurate as quartz watches and occasionally require winding, small time adjustments, or other "horrors" that you won't have to bother with if you stick with a quartz. As far as ordering online from Amazon (or any so called non-authorized dealer), the point is usually savings. You should not expect to acquire an identical product for substantially less money in a free market. In this case the product differential is that the watch does not come with the manufacturer's warranty. Look up the policy of the seller (in my case sold and shipped by Amazon) for what warranty is provided. I made the decision to essentially exchange TH's warranty for Amazon's warranty for what amounted to about $500, which is the additional amount I would have paid for the watch from my local authorized dealer. Finally, all the talk about grey market, unauthorized dealers, etc. is mostly a very nice effort on the part of high end manufacturers to protect their product. Totally understandable. But you should know that any authentic watch made by Tag Heuer has come off the same line, gone through the same inspections, and bulk shipped through the same channels. The distribution is different. You don't get the warranty card. That's it. I promise, there aren't two factories--one for good distributors and one for naughty distributors :) ... show more

    • Stopped working after 6 months
Beautiful watch, but unfortunately it stopped cold after about 6 months. It is under Amazon's warranty, and so far dealing with them has been fine. It is currently being repaired, I hope, so it remains to be seen how things work out. But the $30 Timex I have had for years works perfectly, this $1,500 watch didn't make it to its first year, even if it turns out to be repaired without a problem and cost-free. If.... Update: got the watch back, perfect working order. For about 2 months. Now the date function no longer works. Back for warranty repair. Second Update: watch is now working fine. I know a number of poeple who own TAG Heuer watches and each has been happy with their watch. I have ordered many products over the years on Amazon, so I purchased a TAG Heuer watch from Amazon and Jomashop without ever realizing what I was getting myself into. After only four months of ownership, the watch was inaccurate and stopped working if not worn for a few hours. I took the watch to an authorized TAG Heuer dealer, an old Jewelry store in my town. They said the watch should be accurate if worn a minimum of 10 hours a day and should only be off maybe a minute a month. They asked where I bought the watch and I told them Amazon and Jomashop. They looked at me as though I had committed a crime. They said, "Amazon is not an authorized TAG dealer" and you will have to pay for any repairs if we send it off to TAG. I told them I had a warranty and I did not think I would be responsible for any costs. After investigating, I learned the jewelry store was correct. I purchased the watch not knowing Amazon and Jomashop were unauthorized TAG Heuer dealers and that all I was left with was a "warranty" from Jomashop, a small operator from Brooklyn, NY. I called TAG Heuer and they said, neither Amazon nor Jomashop were authorized dealers and they have no idea where or how Amazon or Jomashop gets these watches to sell. They said if the watch does not have a model number and serial number on the back of the case, they will not work on the watch, mine however does. I asked how do I know the watch is not a fake or a reconditoned watch and they said you don't when you deal with an unauthorized dealer. Since finding this out, I have asked Jomashop and Amazon for a complete refund and both have adamantly refused and requested that I ship the watch to Jomashop for repair. Amazon and Jomashop knowingly sell these TAG Heuer watches as "new", whether or not they are new I do not know. But they are not authorized TAG Heuer dealers and they do not disclose the fact that they are unauthorized dealers and the watches are not covered by a factory warranty. Save yourself the trouble I have gone through. Buy a watch from a local Jewelry store that is an authorized TAG Heuer dealer. ... show more

    • LOVE THIS WATCH!!!
I purchased this watch in January 2017 from the Amazon Warehouse. I was initially a bit apprehensive spending $1000 on a watch from the warehouse, but the deal was too good to pass on. I am so glad I did! It has run flawlessly from the get go and is 100% AUTHENTIC. I read some reviews where people had problems. I guess I am one of the lucky ones. I wear this watch every day and rarely take it off. It looks beautiful and functions fantastically. It is automatic, so it loses a few seconds every few days, but this is to be expected. To give you an idea, I synced it with my computer clock on 5/17/2018. I just checked on 6/23/2018 and it is approximately 7 minutes slow. No big deal to me. Just reset the time and wind it 30 revolutions. I do not know of any automatic watches that do not lose time over an extended period. TL;DR: This watch is AWESOME ... show more

    • Nice watch great look.
Ok, so I read all of the reviews before I purchased this watch and many experienced the crown problem, which made me wary to purchase. However I did purchase the watch and have to say I really like the look of the watch, very nice feel and good automatic second hand movement. I do however not love the bracelet, the design of the tapered links is nice but it just kind of feels cheap when you unclasp it. Overall it is a nice entry level watch with a great classic divers watch look with some downsides but for the price (i paid $1,450 through Amazon) It is tough to beat. My advice for the crown. Whenever you need to adjust the watch and you are done setting the time, turn the watch upside down and turn the crown counter clockwise (turning it upside helps me do this a lot easier) until you here a little click and then screw it the correct way, that way it will thread back together smoothly without any possible cross threading. ... show more

it's my first Tug Heure watch and i bought it around 1600$ from Tag Heuer store, over all i like watch and it can be ware as casual or formal, it has excellent illumination, light wight and it will be fit for large, medium and small wrist.very soft to turn bezel (Al must better than Omega sea master driver 300). What i really hate on this watch is crow, it's very hard (not easy) to close or luck crow winch make me really pissed-off while adjusting time. ... show more

    • Pictures Don't Do It Justice! Great Value!
It's been said in other reviews, but this watch looks far better in person. For whatever reason it just doesn't photograph well. The watch is very comfortable on the wrist. The tapered bracelet looks amazing and feels very high quality. I opted for the one day shipping for $3.99 as an Amazon Prime member. I just couldn't wait for two days! I highly recommend this watch. I've had tons of compliments and it looks good with everything - jeans, shorts, dressed up, dressed down. My only slight negatives are the lume fades pretty quick and it's a little hard to wind. As I'll be wearing the watch everyday I'll never need to wind it. Overall I absolutely recommend this watch. It looks and feels like a much more expensive watch. Time will tell on reliability, but for one week of never coming off my wrist it's amazing. If you are on the fence, go for it. You'll be amazed how good it looks in person. ... show more

Read update below!!!!! So far so good!! Saved several hundred dollars with Amazon. Retail stores selling for $2200 and the only thing you get is the international repair card vs. the Amazon 2 year repair card@! I wear the watch each day, shower, swimming no problem yet. Keeps perfect time for the past 30 plus days, so far so good! The only problem was the price was reduced about 2 weeks later, I called Amazon and was told the only refund difference is on TV's.. So, I call the watch department and requested the difference which was over $50! They sent me a sort of teacher to student type email saying they would refund me the money but "only this time".!? So there is someone there in the watch dept. that is real even if upset they had to give up the $50. Good to know if there is a problem within two years. Like others, if you buy go with the Amazon deal not a sub! BROKE 2 WEEKS SHY OF A YEAR!! CROWN WILL NOT SCREW DOWN,CLASP WILL NOT LOCK AND ABOUT 5 MIN SLOW EACH 30 DAYS, STOPS RUNNING AND THE DAY DATE STICKS ON 2 NOW AND THEN!! I CONTACTED AMAZON CS AND THEY ARE SENDING UPS TO PICK UP THE WATCH AT NO COST.. BUT I SEE OTHERS HAVE POSTED SAYING AMAZON DOES NOT COVER THE CROWN.. WAIT AND SEE.. WELL I TOOK A CHANCE AND ATTEMPTED TO SAVE MONEY BUYING FROM AMAZON - SEEMS THESE WATCHES THEY SELL AT HUGE DISCOUNTS ARE DEFECTIVE!? MAYBE TAG HAS A CROWN PROBLEM AND DOES NOT COVER IT. WATING TO SEE WHAT AMAZON LLC DOES? , Amazon LLC sent the watch back to me, no repair, no replacement! Aug 20th 2013 UPS arrived with a box, thinking they replaced it, NO... same broken watch I sent them,,.
