I installed this in a walk-in closet. It is bright enough to light the entire closet at the highest setting. I like that is is very easy to charge and operate. On the unit itself, you can set the operation to off/on/auto (motion detection) and choose from 3 brightness levels. However, if you use the remote you can adjust the brightness level in smaller increments as well as the time the light stays on.
