Jacket turned out to be even better than I expected. I have been looking for a new lightweight rain jacket for a long time. This one checks all the boxes. Non-cuffed wrists, and a breathable mesh liner that includes the sleeves. It is slightly heavier than I would have liked but it should do the job nicely. Color is great, and the removeable hood is perfect (took a long time to find a jacket with that feature too). If you are on the fence about size I'd recommend going with the larger size. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. At first glance, it looks like a nice jacket, good material and fit. 3 main issues prompted me to return this (see images and video). 1) the hood is detachable and has a flap that covers the zipper. However, the flap has the open side facing upward (bottom attached to the jacket). It won't shed water off the hood down the back of the jacket as it should and instead will allow water to run down the hood and into the flap and zipper where the hood attaches to the jacket body. 2) The pull cord used to adjust the hood is poorly constructed. There's a very strange connection between the cord in the hood to a thin strip of material attached to the jacket body (see pic with white paper for clearer image of the tied connection). 3) The clasp that is supposed to grab and hold the hood adjusting cord does not grab it. The cord slides through it easily so the hood won't stay adjusted. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised by the above average quality of this jacket for the price point. Material is softer than expected for a rain jacket, moves well and is comfortable. Seam work and construction is terrific, no problems with rain resistance. Zippers move well. Chest pocket opening is a little small, have to turn phone completely on end to get it through. It is a heavier material than standard, so it is warmer than i hoped for. Note on sizing, i did have to return the XL i originally ordered as the sleeves were a bit too short for me. The 2XL may be a better choice for those that longer arms or are taller. ... show more

This jacket is made very well! It's on the heavier side for a rain jacket and that's not a bad characteristic. It's a positive, because it can be used for cooler weather, rain, wind and even in the earlier Spring months. The pockets are deep and the inside pocket is definitely an added bonus (it's also deep). This jacket has elastic around the bottom to make a better fit and to prevent cold air to enter the bottom of the jacket. Overall, it's comfortable and well worth the money.
