Very little setup required! Fits very well and contours nicely to your back if worn alone, or sits snugly when worn with a vest. The extra MOLLE patch really helps hold it in place on a vest. Make sure to have your water filtered first, as I don't see any filtration in place. The weight feels weird at first but you get used to it, as with all backpacks. But, the soft almost jersey-like material on the inside of the shoulder straps means no pinching or chaffing save for the longest and most grueling of hikes. Durable stitching and heavy duty plastic clasps ensure you'll give out before the bag does. Don't pull too hard on the lower half of the shoulder strap as the harness straps will pull through the plastic loops, but no breakage has occurred, and it's as easy as reinserting and opening the flanged end of the fabric to fix the issue. Have not tried laying down on it, because I'm a bigger guy and I'm not brave enough to see what weight/pressure the bag can handle before it bursts. All in all, if you need a camping/hiking/ working hydration bag, this one is perfectly priced and high quality!

Tacticon's HydroPack Elite is a reasonably priced camelpack that has a couple of special features that I really like. The overall quality is excellent with the heavy-duty Dernier nylon that matches my other military backpacks. The zippers, straps, and fittings are extra heavy duty. The water pouch is rugged, wide mouth, and easy to clean. The water tube is reinforced with an additional sleeve of nylon that makes it resistant to damage with a custom spigot that comes with a tethered cover which angles so that you don't have to sip under torqueing of the tube. I've had easily a dozen of these camelpacks over the years and this one seems both well thought out and extra heavy duty compared to other name brands. But the main reason I got it is the straps are completely removable and the back portion has a huge Velcro attachment and extra straps that directly interface with my MOLLE system. Extremely cool bonus that none of my other bags have. It really makes a difference in making all of my standard packs completely self-sustaining for longer hikes, and isolates my gear from condensation from my water supply. Got to say that the price point is excellent and really like this Tacticon product! Nice Job!!

Once you get use to the unlocking and locking to fill the hydration bag it’s a breeze ! Zero leaks , love the design and how minimalistic it is and the tactical useful ness when needed . Hands down I will recommend to anyone needing a new hydration bag , I used this one for a festival and it survived w no issues at all ✅ Cost is fair , build and quality superb , and ease of use is a breeze after a few trys 👍🏼

I was looking for a low-profile hydration pack that holds 3L but slim enough to fit next to my seat in the mighty UH-60 Blackhawk, this is perfect. It comes with shoulder straps, buckles, etc but all that is removable, so I could strip it down and just hang it by the top loop. Well made and lots of options with the molle, buckles, straps. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is I'm not sure about the reservior design, you have to slide the top clip off and then the top of the reservior was open to fill. I haven’t tried it, but seems like it may be difficult to fill close it up, but hard to judge without attempting it. I had a Camelbak military reservior that I swapped out. All in all, very happy with the quality of the product for the price, came with a note from the owner. I will buy from Tacticon again.

Very well designed and constructed hydration bladder and carrier. While it is a great stand-alone hydration backpack, it works perfectly as a matched addition to the BattleVest Elite, mounting easily and securely with the included accessories. Very happy with both the Tacticon products I’ve purchased so far. Note- while this is designed to work with the Elite PC, accessories are include to allow it to be used with other brands of plate carriers. The hydration kit will be a welcomed upgrade, when used most weekends working an outdoor training center, here in South Florida. •Pros- Quality of materials, sturdiness of build, well designed & price point. •Cons- Imported.

Very lightweight and simple to secure to plate carrier (also Tacticon). Not a backpack for carrying more than the water blade but once it's secured to the carrier you wouldn't be removing it often to access it anyways. For this specific purpose it's perfect and lightweight.

I bought 2 of them for the price. I run one on my SWAT vest and one I keep for other uses. Even guys on my team are switching from other water carriers to this because of the price, quality and the ease of being able to clean the inside of the bladder. I highly recommend and so far they have held up to heavy use.
