The light installed easily, but wouldn't turn on. Upon closer inspection, the LED bulb inside was broken. I contacted the seller for a replacement bulb (just the bulb) and they shipped a whole new light. That was above and beyond expectations. I will order from this seller again.

    • Good all around light but hampered by a weak clamp.
The light is reasonably sturdy and quite bright. The stainless steel tube is strong. Where there is a problem is with the clamp to adjust the angle of the light. The clamp doesn’t provide sufficient clamping to prevent the light from loosening. My old light was much better as far as clamping went but was too short for my application. After soldering this entire fixture on the light only worked when it was moved around. Taking the cover off and trying to adjust the bulb led to a too thin and weak prong simply falling off. It was a frustrating amount of work for such a poor design. I suggest looking for something with a much more robust bulb. ... show more

As others have said, this is not really designed to easily mount on a Bimini top square tubing frame. I securely mounted it by turning it "sideways" to mount longitudinally to the frame. The drawback is that the light then can only be adjusted from left to right rather than forward/backward. Not a huge issue but not the "universal" design that I had expected. ... show more
