    • Absolutely One of the Best
I’ll start this review by saying that I’ve been a police officer for 24 years (almost retired!). I have used a countless number of weapon lights/accessories over my career and this weapon light stands above them all. When I first opened the product, it was baffled at the small size of the light. It’s literally 1/2 the size of an OLight or Streamlight, which is awesome. I have to admit that I did think that it would perform just like it’s size dictates. I thought it would be dim and “toylike.” In fact, there are several warnings on the box and literature that read “do not look directly in to this light as damage to your eyes may occur.” Yeah…ok slick, whatever….. In less than 30 seconds, I had it mounted to my Glock .40. It was literally as easy as clipping the light to the rail and turning the screw tight by hand. I tapped the side switch to turn it on….holy smokes is this light bright!! A Huge flood beam with a tight and hyper-bright center. In a direct comparison with a TLR-1, an OLight, and a Insight…..this light blows them all away….and it ain’t even close. The ambidextrous switches are solid feeling and a faint, barely audible click sounds as the switch is depressed, with good tactile feel. The switches feel sturdy and solid. I’m not certain if the “click” can be heard, or if I am just feeling the pronounced “click.” And….this is cool…..when the light is activated; there are 5 tiny “battery life” led’s on the bottom side of the light that illuminate to give the user an idea of when it may need a charge. Neat! This light arrived fully charged and ready to go, but the battery life led’s make it look like it should be attached to a cyborg of some kind. The charger is similar to any small “plug in” cell phone charger with a USB port on one side with a detachable usb wire with a magnetic charging disc that attaches to the light. To charge the light, just move the wire close to the charger and the strong magnets just “click” to the light. A strong, sturdy connection is obtained and the light starts charging. I did leave the light on to check the sustained battery life. From a full charge, the light stayed bright for 79 minutes and then just stopped working. The light output went from 100% to zero and the red “battery life” led illuminated. I charged the light and in 41 minutes, it was at full charge and ready to go again. The best things about this light are the size, the “melt your eyeballs” brightness, and the ability to recharge it. Let’s face it, CR123 batteries are $7 for a two pack and weapon lights eat them like it’s their job. And…after thinking hard about it; I can’t think of any negatives. Thinking a little more, I thought the creator of this light had to be either a police officer or a combat veteran. Civilians just don’t stumble upon the perfect weapon light. That would be like a non-tennis player, developing the best racquet the world has seen. Ain’t gonna happen. After some research, I discovered that the developer is in-fact a US Military war veteran (commonly spelled H-E-R-O). After using this light…..it all makes sense. If you’ve a weapon that needs a light, stop searching and get one of these bad boys!! You’ll be glad you did. ... show more

    • Compact, no frills pistol light
The right size for my Canik METE MC9. Simple, well constructed, and seems to work well. Have yet to get it to the range to test durability but this is the size and function I was looking for. Most others in this price range are far too large and bulky. Brightness is great and it couples very well with a red dot sight like the Mecanik M01 that I installed. ... show more

I purchased this over a year ago. At the time it was $29 or so -- a very good value. It fit perfectly on my home defense pistol and was easy to instal. I especially liked the magnetic charging capability. The light itself has a good form factor and an excellent throw. And the standby battery life was good. I believe the instructions say it's a five year standby time. I'd be shocked if that was the case, but it went at least nine months with no charge and was OK. After sitting on my night stand for a year, I eventually took this to the range and shot my 9mm with this attached. After 100 rounds the magnet for charging became unseated and dropped back into the body rendering the light unchangeable and unusable. I contacted customer service. First I enabled my warranty, a simple process on their site. After that, and one or two very quick email exchanged that included me sending a photo of the broken light, they quickly processed a replacement that was mailed out almost immediately. It arrived in a reasonable time and was charged. While I'm a little disappointed that the light didn't hold up to more than 100 rounds of 9mm before breaking (hopefully a manufacturing defect), I'm more than happy with the customer service experience and this is why I'm giving a five star review. The item has a 'lifetime warranty' and I will continue to use it and rely on that warranty and excellent customer service. ... show more

Nice little light. Great features, especially the rechargeable capability. Fit good on my G 19. Buuuut..the company does not even carry a kydex holster to accept said pistol with their light attachment. Who knew! ?? So keep that in mind

    • Amazing Light For The Money!!!
I will say this, I was kinda skeptical about this purchase. Having been a fanboy of Streamlight for the past 15 years, I was very hesitant. I have now been using this light on my EDC for the past few days and I do have to say its rather nice. Its plenty bright for its intended use, and has very nice tactile buttons which are very easy to use without moving your hand placement. Did I mention this thing is small, and I mean really small, which is perfect for concealed carry. There are a few companies out there that make holsters for this light if interested, But I used my holster which is setup for a TLR-7 and it worked fine. We will see how this light holds up over the next few months with the heat, sweat, water and over durability over everyday life, but as of right now, I am very pleased and quite surprised with the overall quality of this light. !!!! ... show more
