  • COSPLAY ITEM
Color: Black
This is great for LOOKS. It doesn't function, and you can't see through it. I don't think the 40 bucks was worth it, maybe like 25-30 would be better. Matches the aesthetic of my gear really well though

  • Looks a little toy like for the value its asking for
Color: Black
It looks pretty good but really could have gotten away with just having the goggles pass through lenses so you can still see with them down so this makes them pretty much unusable even with just the appearance. Likewise the strictly molded plastic is visible from a distance and the mount is pretty frail as a result. Over all it looks pretty good but without even being able to see when its mounted in front of the face makes it less exciting to have even just for its appearance when you can't see what you're doing. ... show more

  • Durable replica quad nods—great for helmets or display use
Color: Black
These replica quad nods look great and make an excellent addition to a replica helmet setup. The build is all plastic, but they still feel fairly durable and hold up well when handled. Operation is simple and straightforward, and they function just as intended for display or cosplay purposes. You can technically look through the tubes, but the view isn’t clear since they aren’t optical devices—it’s purely for aesthetics. For the price, they deliver solid quality and value if you’re looking to complete a replica or airsoft loadout. ... show more

  • Looks neat for a costume
Color: Black
These look impressive for a display piece or cosplay, but it’s important to note they are non-functional. The build is lightweight plastic, but they hold up well enough for costume use or as a prop. The included helmet mount makes them easy to set up, and the detailing looks close to the real thing. Just be aware these are strictly decorative—no real night vision here. For cosplay or a themed display, they get the job done. ... show more

  • Good for pictures
Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. Obviously, you can't see in the dark with these. In fact, you can't see through them at all. Because of that, these are only a prop, as it says in the description. If you just want something to look cool in pictures, this will work just fine. They look the part, but they don't weigh a ton which is great. The included G24 mount isn't very good. It's plastic so it's pretty flimsy. Having said that, it'll work for pictures. It's fully functional with all of the adjustments you need. The battery pack can hold 4 CR123s so if you need a way to keep some spare flashlight/laser/optic batteries on you, it'll work well. The cable feels good but it's a little stiff. The adjustments on the tubes feel really brittle, as does the rest of the housing. Overall, I wouldn't play airsoft with these on, but you could play with the battery pack attached to your helmet if you want to look like you do stuff in the dark, and have the added bonus of carrying spare batteries. But, if you're just putting these on for a photo shoot, they'll look good. ... show more

  • Surprisingly nice build quality
Color: Black
Before my review, I wish to state I received this item though Amazon Vine. However, I pride myself in my honest, unbiased, and detailed reviews. These cosplay or prop night vision goggles are really decent cosplay props. They look accurate to their real life counterparts. They are light weight but have decent build quality. I imagine they will be easy to modify if you want to add lighting. I believe they are compatible with airsoft helmet hardpoints. They have different adjustable points on them that hold their position when adjusted. They feel high quality and will make a nice addition to my cosplay collection. ... show more

  • Not Real, Not Toys
Color: Black
Not really sure how to review this item. I have a grandson that loves military history. Ancient Persia to Waterloo to WWI and WWII to the Russia-Ukraine war, he'll sit and watch historical videos for hours. I thought that he would like these, possibly for a Halloween costume. Unfortunately, they won't work for that. Trick-or-Treat starts too late and these block too much light. There is also something on one of the lenses and I can't get it clean. Not sure, but it looks like fuzz from when they molded one of the outside pieces. I also can't figure out how they mount. My guess is that they attach to a helmet with the requisite mount, but there are no instructions or pictures on either the box or ad copy. No strap, so definitely helmet mount. They look like they would fit a photography tripod or monopod, but I haven't figured out how. So why ****? They are rather substantial, not like a toy, and they are somewhat adjustable for aim. They will make a good static display, even if not practical for costume use. That's where they'll probably find a home. In the ad copy, it does stress several times that these are not real goggles, so don't make that mistake. It does say ages 12 and up on the package, that's not in the ad copy anywhere that I can see. For what they are, they are nice, but I can't figure out exactly what that is. They're Not Real, Not Toys. ... show more
