This collar appears to be well made. We've been using it for a few weeks now and it's easy to get on and off and the latch snaps securely. Adjustments are easy to make with the Velcro strap, although I have some reservations about the long-term usefulness of Velcro around dog hair. But I suppose I won't be making very many adjustments on my grown dog. The sizing seems true to the seller's recommendation. My 70 lb mutt has a 19" neck and the Large fits great. Current pricing, which is around $10 is a fantastic value for a hefty collar like this. ... show more

I have a husky/doberman mix so he is high energy and hates being attached to his line in the backyard. I wanted to test out this collar because the last few collars he has had, he wriggled out of them even though they were on snuggly. We got the new collar on, and the first time back out on the line, he broke off of it. The collar seems to be sort of a breakaway because he has already broken off 3 times and it's only been 2 weeks since getting this collar. I do think it's made well with good intentions. The handle is good but does no good when the collar breaks off 😕 ... show more

Tactical Dog Collar (XL ): This is a great heavy-duty collar. It is constructed of three durable layers of material with velcro adjustment straps, which really hold your adjustments well. The buckle is metal, and so is the D-ring. There is also a control handle that, although functional, is a little on the thin side and lacks padding for comfort. I would say that the handle is the only weakness of this collar, which is otherwise a great collar at a great price. The XL size fit a Cane Curso/Pot Bull mix with a 22" neck well fully extended. This is a great collar that I will definitely buy again when a new collar is needed. ... show more

was a little iffy on the velcro at first as my dog is large and likes to pull and more or less destroyed her old collar constantly straining, however between the velcro and the metal clasp this collar has been great so far and doesn't seem to have alot of give compared to a normal collar.
