For the price this is extremely nice. Looks great on my shepherd and size L is good fit. The buckle snaps solid and the built in handle works well when holding her back. The handle is not super comfortable but also not discomforting to use. It's a bit narrow but functional. I've seen similar colors for 2 to 3 times the cost!! Minus 2 star as if you want to use a dog tag the ring on the collar is in an odd place where the tag hangs off side of her neck which looks dumb and annoys her so had to take it off. ... show more

was a little iffy on the velcro at first as my dog is large and likes to pull and more or less destroyed her old collar constantly straining, however between the velcro and the metal clasp this collar has been great so far and doesn't seem to have alot of give compared to a normal collar.

The color almost matches Coopers fur. The frog leg clasp is easy to buckle and unbuckle. The handle is strong, and the D ring clasp is easy to hook the leash to. There is a soft padding on the inside of the collar for comfort. This will make walks so much easier as you can grab the handle if he sees his nemesis the squirrel. This collar is sturdy and as large as advertised with a handle for grabbing. The buckle is seriously heavy duty, metal instead of plastic, and most of the collar is made of three thick layers of nylon fabric, nylon webbing, and Velcro. I'm not sure what the purpose of the elaborate velcro lengthening/shortening system is, because it's a bit tricky and the collar has to be removed from the animal to make adjustments, but it works. Superbly made tactical dog collar. Metal clasp holds the collar tight. Zero fear that the collar will come undone if my dog decides to pull away from me. I have had plastic clasps break or come loose when my dog has pulled too hard. The material used for this collar is heavy duty.

This dog collar is ok. The metal clasp is good and the handle is a great feature. The Velcro is not strong at all and does not stay secure. If it didn’t have a good clasp, this collar would not stay fastened.
